I had my vehicle serviced there a little over a year ago for some routine transmission work. The staff was all knowledgeable, friendly, and they were extremely transparent in what they offered. They did not try to oversell me on anything, and they even offered less comprehensive, cheaper options to me. I was given a clear timeline of how long the work would take. They have a service that will take you somewhere in town while you wait on your car. Overall, I was very impressed with the service I received from AASTRO! I would recommend them to anyone needing a fair and trustworthy repair service...especially for transmissions. Their type of work and customer satisfaction is hard to find in this industry.

The few cons I have are very minor. It seemed like they were a smaller staff. I am not sure, as I have only been there one time; however, this may affect turn-around time on work done (I was there near the Holidays, so this could have affected staffing). Albeit, was in and out within 2 hours for a full transimission fluid change (the time they quoted me). Additionally, their facility and waiting room is a little dated. I find this true of most repair shops, but it would be nice to see an updated and nicer waiting room for a change. Their room is quite small, and it offered minor entertainment and reading material. Overall, AASTRO is a great place for car repair needs!

Extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Transmission’s totally honest it’s refreshing to be able to take my vehicle somewhere and not have to worry about it or the people working on Jimmy is very knowledgeable and they’re always very friendly

My 10-year old car is driving like it’s brand new!   Jimmy and his crew fixed my baby up and she’s purring like a fat, content cat!  I feel confident that they will find and fix the problem and have a level of trust I’ve never had with any other garage.  I can count on having a ride to work when I drop my car off and she was completely detailed when I picked her up this time!  Thanks Aastro!

Over the last handful of years AASTRO Transmission I’ve had a chance to get to know all of the staff, understand their level expertise, and as a result I’ve developed a strong sense of trust with the personnel:  Kenny – who took the time to show me how a U-joint wears and is replaced.  Al – countless repairs, patiently explaining to me what he’s done.  Blair – many repairs explained, and recently offered to put my bike in the back of his truck and give me a ride home to avoid the rain.  James – again, patientl explaining different options & costs for repairs.  The newest member of the team – Monica – greets me pleasantly, knows the status of my repair when I call, and keeps the office running smoothly.  Their name doesn’t give them credit for all they do, and do well.  Through their inspections during oil changes, they have kept me safe by detecting numerous real issues in my older car before they become failures.  Thank you!
