I ordered my pizza at 630pm and I was told by the woman over the phone working there it would be an hour. I said ok thank you. It’s currently 8:10pm. I call again to make sure they have the correct address beside it’s been almost 2 hours. The guy immediately snapped back at me and said I was wrong and lying & that he tells everyone 2 hour wait. I said I spoke to a woman and not him. He immediately jumped down my throat with no sympathy whatsoever for the long wait. Customer service is absolutely horrid and I will never be ordering from this pizza place again.

FOOD IS GREAT, BUT TERRIBLE SERVICE. Customer service is pathetic. As much as I come in there and flash a smile, I still get treated poorly. The worst part is no one cares. These people have no remorse. Only 1 of the ladies I like, everyone else is dry.. Complete opposite at the New Haven location.

Ordered a lasagna pizza. Disgusting and soaked in grease. Couldn’t even eat one slice. Abate’s should be embarrassed serving this pizza, not to mention charging customers $17 for it.  I’ve had better pizza from fast food chains.  NEVER AGAIN.

I never write reviews for places but after a long day of work I decided to go to Abate's. I love there pizza but they lack in their customer service. Turns out they were closed at 8:30 on a Sunday but their open sign was still on. Totally understandable, what is not understandable is how 8 people are standing around the front counter chatting and not one greeted me nor said "sorry were closed". It's not that they didn't notice me as direct eye contact was made, it's just that they chose to ignore me and that is uunacceptable.
