Owner, Claudette Trentham kendig, has had salon business in Gatlinburg for 35 years

Story

Gatlinburg's and Sevier County's AVEDA Concept Salon. Constant training and seminars assure that our personnel are the best in their profession: color, cuts, highlights, low-lights, Brazilian Keratin Protein Straightner and more. Truly, one of the most beautiful and personally organized salons -- Our Spa has trained Massage Therapists and a Medical Massage Therapist. Wraps, scrubs, body masks, aroma therapy and much more.

AVEDA-plant derived, wind power produced..you will find that AVEDA products are periodically unavailable. This is because AVEDA will not over use the derivatives of what there products are made of. This allows the farmer's to continue to grow a quality product which is there lively hood. This is why we choose AVEDA. They do care for the world around us.

Was a cute place, but on the morning of my wedding my stylist was an HOUR late to my appointment. None of the other stylists were apologetic and neither was my own stylist. She was sweet, I'll give her that, but she didn't do my hair the way I wanted. She did indeed ask if I liked it and I agreed I did, only because I was running behind due to her being behind and there would have been no time to redo it. I was never offered a discount or anything of that sort let alone a sincere apology. I highly regret going to About You.

I was on vacation and walked in last minute for a much needed haircut! The staff was wonderful! From the moment I walked in until the time I  left the service was awesome! I had went to 4, YES 4, other salons and they either didn't take walk ins or they were closing! Thank you About You for your service and they great haircut!

I had my hair and makeup done by Marisol. She did an awesome job. She really listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

McKayla did a great job on my hair and make up for my wedding! My one complaint is she isn't very personable,  if you want hair and make up done just right and not looking for "the expirence" I'd recommend here. The other girls who did my girls make up were pretty good, needed a few adjustments done but all in all I would do it all over again! 4.5 stars if i could and not just 4! Thanks guys!

I visited the salon while on vacation and was very pleased with my hot stone message and hair color. The staff was very friendly. However the salon was cluttered and in need of a good cleaning.
