It was a very fun time for my family. My 4 year old has us running around looking for King Kong. It was an amazing day. My daughter who is legally blind was introduced to the walking stick today. Was a beautiful moment to see her pick it up like a natural. Will remember this day the rest of me life.

It might be considered the off season because when I went there was a few animals "hibernating for the winter". Most importantly, there was a good chunk of animals currently out of their exhibit and when I say good junk, like double digit percent amount. One thing I did enjoy was seeing one of the zoo trainers go through their routine with one of the animals and gave them treats every time they did something correct. On top of that, the gentleman in the exhibit during this was able to share some great information that I enjoyed a lot. It's a nice little zoo but I would personally ask what the current occupancy is before I go in because I don't wanna pay to see so many empty exhibits.

My kids love the zoo. Plenty to do and see with a large grassy area for them to run around. They allow outside food which is awesome if you have a family. However, we often eat at the cafe as the food is pretty good (albeit a bit expensive). We appreciate that we can ride the train to the aquarium as well if the weather isn't what we hoped for.

This Zoo is a great place to take the family. The staff all are friendly and look like they love their work. You will get a map when you enter and it's very easy to read. I highly recommend that you bring some water or juice because you will be on your feet. Oh yes dont forget some quarters because feeding the ducks are a blast!

My family and I love coming here. We're finishing up our second 1 year membership. Its well worth the money, It pays for it's self in a couple visits. We come sometimes just to do the hand feedings or watch the ones we missed. Hope they do face paintings & the zip line again this summer.. x10**
