You get what you pay for. As far as the zoo goes it was okay. It was hot and the animals didn't move much. A few of the exhibits were empty. We looked for the white peacock but didn't find it. Maybe next time.

We visited here today since we are in Roswell for my husband's work. It was fun to see the animals, my one year old son loved the bison, I enjoyed seeing the beaver and Hawks. Overall the experience was ok. The train and carousel were closed and there was nowhere I could find that stated when it would be open. There are also lots of birds and therefore bird poop everywhere which is kinda gross. I feel like the animals are cared for at a minimum level but it may be the severe heat that makes them seem sad. It was sure making me feel a bit sad too.

Very nice zoo. Yes, some of the enclosures are too small but they are actively working on that. Great playground and all animals are close enough to observe. Great for an outing or several! Fee free at this time

I could not believe the horrible enclosures these poor animals are forced to live in. The bears are in total distress. This place needs to be shut down. I have been to beautiful humane zoos, but this is not one of them. Don't waste your money to support this horrible zoo.

The enclosures are abhorrent. Too small for far range animals, dirty, and uncomfortable for their feet. The zoo was given an offer for the animals to be transferred to reputable sanctuaries *at no cost to the zoo*, yet they refused to allow the animals to go to a better home. They should be ashamed of themselves.
