I have no idea about the quality of teaching at this Academy however from a neighbor perspective they are basically the neigbor who parties everyday and cant pic a song to play all the way through. Loud music from the field day and night 7 days a week. Around 15-20 sec each song before it goes to another song all day long. Ranging across the genres, country to rock to rap to techno. The only time it is somewhat muted is when they put up an atrocious white bubble over the field for winter months. Ridiculous amount of traffic caused by the multiple games played on the fields. Definitely a consideration to take if looking to rent/buy a home near Holy Angels.

Sending my son now 23 to AHA was the best decision we made. The education he received was excellent. My son tested very high on college tests and was only a so so every day student! I would suggest this school to any family Who wants a son or daughter to actually learn! And become a great citizen and adult.

My sister and I just attended "Mary Poppins" and were so impressed with the cast, the volunteers running the show, and the overall high quality feeling in this beautiful school building. Go Stars!!

If there was a quarter of a star I would use it. It is the worst excuse of a Catholic School. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!! It is $15,000 a year without financial aid and teaches same stuff as a public school would except smaller classes which should only be about $1,000/yr. SO anyways the top floor is always 100 degrees and the school is so uncomfortable to be in. I could not focus in math because it was about 88 degrees with a polo shirt and heavy navy shorts on. They should be able to afford some form of fans that is actually productive (the wooden fans travel maybe on revolution/minute). It is so old and it feels like you are living in the 60's. Every single thing you do in this school costs money! Where does all the money go?? Oh yeah that's right, to a four-faced danalog clock right next to the school doors. Why put in a clock if all the kids have phones with digital times displayed when you click a button. And if your going here for the sports don't worry they charge a boat-load for that too! The sports are fantastic the football never wins state the baseball program is like a program for kids who have not played before combined with kids who think they're the next Hank Aaron. The hockey program is also really bad considering the coach played minors and played for UMD. All the hockey players chew in the locker room and talk about drugs and drinking. Fun times am I right. Also, if your looking to make friends it will be hard to find a clique to fit into since they all think they're hot **** and if you don't live in Minneapolis or play soccer, you don't have a shot at being even recognized by anyone. DON'T GO HERE!!
