We invite everyone in the community to become members at whatever level they can afford. Many of our programs and events are free to the public. We facilitate ACAI Studio fellows and resident artists in offering workshops and classes by making space available to them at cost and promoting their classes as part of general ACAI Studio programs.
Our goal is to have a self sustaining community studio. For this reason, it must operate in way that supports the real costs of having, operating and maintaining the studio. To accomplish this we must have sufficient cash income to cover expenses. These include mortgage payments, utilities, equipment costs, taxes, insurance, materials, advertising and staff. Everyone is encouraged to volunteer time to help make the studio a viable community. We post volunteer opportunities regularly. Our pricing is based on the space, equipment and utilities used plus general overhead. We make every effort to keep costs as low as possible while at the same time achieving sustainability and maintaining a prudent contingency fund (emergency repairs, equipment, improvements etc.).

* Gas, Electric & Raku Kilns
