Love renting from these guys when we have an issue it's normally taken care of with in a few days some times a few weeks.

If I could give them a zero I would give them a -100! We had the displeasure of having them as our property manager for five years. Every month there was a repair. Why does a new water heater need a repair? I would ask for documentation of the repairs and never received them. I asked for pictures after spending $1300 with them to fix the house after tenant damage. It took a separate realtor coming in to the house for me to get pictures!  Our statements for October-December showed lawn maintenance. They never did any lawn maintenance or snow removal according to our neighbors. I rarely received a full rent check because they always had a "maintenance order" or "repair"....yeah right! Thank God we finally sold the house.... at a loss because of damage from tenants. We had to tell them a tenant moved because our neighbors told us! They didn't even realize they gave us a zero statement when we had a tenant! You are supposed to be running a business! How do you not know that you did not collect rent from somebody? We also had a tenant that had a leaky car and ruined the driveway. They didn't notice it when they did the walk-through. Their excuse was the ice covered the driveway. I was told by neighbors that there was no snow or ice (with pictures to show it). Even if it was true, why wouldn't you tell them you're holding their security deposit until a full inspection of the property could be performed? So instead of them taking the security deposit we had to pay up to clean their oil from the driveway. You have been warned. BEWARE OF ACCESS PROPERTIES in South Bend, IN.

I have never had such a horrible experience with a management before. They do not fix anything that goes into a work order. My bedroom ceiling leaked due to heavy rain, which ruin their walls and my bedding. They came to 'fix' it 2 months later by adding 3 shingles. They also just sold the house im currently renting 5 months before my lease is up to a realtor. Said realtor has put my house up for sale withoutany notice from either party. They are taking the only place for my husband and I and our 3 CHILDREN. Who in their right mind would do that without ANY warning. Horrible people. Not to mention, the description of the house state it has a 'newer roof'. They are a joke as a 'management company'. Access properties is only worried about their money and absolutely nothing else.

I've been with Access Properties for 5 years. If we have an issue they send maintenance out according to the issue. 
I've never had any real issues with them other than how they figure their late fees. 
I don't like that they want to charge me an outrageous amount of my batteries are dead in a smoke detector. Always check your own detectors make sure they are all up and working. 
We did have maintenance come out and paint over some mold in the bathroom that bled through the paint less than a month later. We ended up doing it right ourselves & it has been almost 2 years since I asked them to address a spot in my sons room which still has not been resolved properly.

They will not care about you, just your money. They will not fix anything in an urgent matter. They will let you drown or die in a fire and then contact you 5 days later.

Business hours are from 9am to 5pm, but if you try to call, 90% of the time you'll get the voicemail saying they are closed.

In November of 2015 a water line above my apartment burst and all 4 walls of my bathroom were cascading with water. I called the emergency hotline at 2am.... voicemail. Never got a call back. I called again the next day, voicemail, no call back. Finally after 3 days and 6 phone calls the emergency contractor called me back. But, by this point everything in the bathroom was ruined and smelled of mold.

So, the contractor comes out after 4 days of having my own private waterfalls and turns off the water and "fixes," the problem. Great, no more waterfalls.

But, now there is no ceiling in my bathroom and the upstairs apartment can see down into my shower and my toilet area... I was told that the hole would be repaired the next day.... April 2016 a guy comes out, puts up a sheet of drywall, leaves a huge mess of debris and paneling and rusted nails ALL OVER my apartment, not just the bathroom.

August of 2016.... no update. The molding with rusted nails is still hanging out. A bucket of drywall mud is in my bathroom as well as screws and other building supplies. 

This company is a joke and does a crap job of managing problems. They are really good about getting your rent, though.
