When it comes to accounting firms in the greater Chicago area, Accounting Solutions Ltd. certainly stands as a long term favourite of mine. As a full time electrical engineer with a small technology service shop on the side, it is often very difficult to manage priorities, especially when it comes to money. Prior to hiring ASL, my business was faltering in terms of tax returns and bookkeeping in general. Since I was often out of the city for work, the store which I had founded and was trying to keep afloat was beginning to falter, partially due to the employees who helped manage the place being overwhelmed with financial statements and a myriad of excel spreadsheets that formed an unbelievable headache. It eventually got to the point that I was certain that an audit would cause irrevocable harm to my business. In comes ASL, a firm recommended to me by a close friend who said they helped him handle a considerable estate that he had inherited years prior. After that, things went considerably uphill for my company as they were able to come in and quickly and effectively prepare and organize my finances and associated statements so as to prepare us for the next tax season. This came as a pleasant surprise to be sure, but felt like nothing outside the ordinary for a firm- just accountants doing their jobs. Almost a year later, I came to the realization that this was not the case. No, the people of ASL really took time to learn the ups and downs of my business, and made recommendations and monetary tweaks that ultimately saved the business, and myself, a lot of cash. A few years down the line, and they have actually have become an important part of the functioning of my electronic shop. One thing that I find really puts them apart from other firms that I have dealt with in the past is their clear dedication towards their clients. Through thick and thin, it is obvious that they try to merge with those who hire them on a near personal level, dedicating time and effort towards others' businesses as if they were their own. Normally I wouldn't go online and rave about groups such as this, but I honestly hold ASL in the highest of praises due to their dedication and efficiency.

I would recommend this accounting firm to any small business owner or individual in Chicagoland. They work diligently and always take the time we need for explanation. Having Accounting Solutions on our team is one of the best desicions we have made!

Chris and Accounting Solutions helped me with my taxes when I was finishing my degree and working multiple jobs, including freelance. I thought taxes would be a nightmare with all of these considerations but Chris really helped me out, explaining where I could save money and answering any questions I had along the way. I always feel confident using their tax services and have recommended them highly to friends and family.
