Our mission is to provide the highest standard of quality & compassion in veterinary care for our clients. Locations in Los Altos and Los Gatos.

Story

Adobe Animal Hospital opened in 1964 with one vet and a mission to serve the pets and owners that came through its doors. Now, we have two locations and more than thirty veterinarians as well as an extensive and able staff ready to assist you and your furry, feathered, amphibian, and reptilian companions.

We offer our full service care and are available 24/7 for your pet emergencies at our primary location in Los Altos, California, and proudly opened two additional facilities, Adobe South Bay and Adobe Veterinary Marketplace in Los Gatos, California, in March 2015. Our South Bay facilities in Los Gatos are open daily and Adobe Veterinary Marketplace includes all things necessary for your pets’ food and therapeutic needs.

Probably the best vets in the area. Very professional, good equipment and people who listen. Almost too popular for their own good. Expect to wait for an appointment and once you get there. At my last visit their small feline waiting room had 5 people, 5 cats and 5 cages. I came back with many flea bites. Free wifi. Free nail clipping (if you request it)

We brought in our bunny close to death with extreme GI stasis. Everyone there, from the receptionists, veterinary technicians, and doctors were extremely knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Adobe had to keep him for a few days and for a while there we were sure we would lose our bunny, but the staff and doctors at Adobe managed to coax him back to life and save him. We are extremely grateful for everything they did. Thank you all!

I have been bringing my dogs here for 9 years and all of the staff - receptionists, techs, pharmacists, and doctors are always friendly and take great care of my four-legged family members.

ZERO STARS for ZERO care. Do NOT come here My bird received nothing but absolute apathy from the personnel at this "hospital" My bird was denied to even be seen by the 5 personnel at the lobby never mind there were no other clients at the time of our visit. No need to make faces at the presence of a sick animal that urgently needs care. We are more of a threat to a sick animal than the other way around. When the time is crucial and its a literal life or death situation, you want to find empathy, hospitable care and see professionals put their expertise to work-but most of all, you need actual care and love for your animal. The personnel did not possess the most caring, appreciative traits for the life of my bird. On the contrary, they were inconvenienced and it showed by their facial expressions. This is the last thing you need to experience in times like these. When the going gets tough, don't take your sick animal here, they did not care for the life of my animal when it mattered the most. I only wasted my bird's precarious life by coming here only to face this nullity. Your pet deserves to be seen by people who actually truly care for its life and recovery, both in good times, and in the bad times. Your pets deserve to go somewhere where every life of the animals that arrive at its premises are truly valued, not where they are turned away when they need help the most. Thankfully My feathered friend found a true functional animal hospital that was able to see him. Great doctors, great treatment- my dog started to gain weight- instead of pushing some blood tests they offered me to start a diet.. thanks!
