Our dog stayed for 20 days at VCA PA Animal Hospital and we were very disappointed. Our dog has both an eye disease and an auto-immune disease and we felt the place to keep our dog was an animal hospital. We normally go somewhere else but they were currently renovating their kennels. Our dog needs eye drops placed in his right eye daily. This apparently was to hard for those working at this kennel to do. Upon our return to pick our dog up we had also asked for the deluxe bath which included cutting his nails. The nails weren't cut and his eye looked terrible. When they brought out his left-over food and belongings we asked where is his eye medicine. The receptionist said "he has eye medicine?" and returned to the back and spent about 10 minutes looking for it. She finally found it. We left. We brought our dog in to see his eye vet because we were concerned about his eye and the way it looked. The vet said "no one has given your dog any medicine in his right eye." She immediately gave our dog a shot and gave us more eye drops to hopefully correct his infected eye. Bottom line, if you are thinking of bordering your pet here because its a hospital and you think they will take care of your pet, DON'T do it. In stead of tipping these people they should be paying us for our recent vet visit along with grooming our dog. I will never use this hospital again!! Terry
