A very clean clinic. Only thing is that the owner may be over stretched with work as he does not have time for your questions regarding his diagnosis. Lots of huffing and puffing and impatience. In the end, I cancelled the procedure I had scheduled as I was concerned I had bothered him and maybe that negativity could come through in his work. We waited to take my dogs to their old vet in Miami at Christmas. Fortunately the old vet did not feel the need to extract teeth, and the cleaning of both dogs went forward with a way better physical outcome for both dogs and a better financial outcome for me, even adding in the plane fare!! I'm now trying a new vet.

Mabel was seriously mistreated at Alta-View. We did not have a choice to go there or not for her spay as it was already scheduled by the rescue agency we adopted her from. She was given her rabies vac many weeks too early, the doctor's notes state she's 11 weeks old on one then 15 weeks old on another, they gave the rabies vac via the muscle which isn't standard procedure, the doctor always came in and took my dog in the back without performing simple exams and such in front of me, he never clarified whether or not she had allergies which I kept asking about, I was sent to the waiting room after she was taken back and then a tech just gave her back to me and told me to go. This happened three times. Standard procedure is waiting in the patient room and having the doctor come back and tell me what he did to my dog. They've charged me up the wazoo for stuff I don't even know about, I'm still asking for the bill. She was also given two of the same vaccine by accident. I can't express how upset I am with this clinic. To top it off, when she got her stitches out her wound looked so bad I took her to another vet an hour later. I took her to Advanced Vet Medical Center (AVMC) in Milpitas and they were AWESOME. Turns out Dr. Ghumman tied her stitches too tight causing her to bleed and get an infection. Hundreds of dollars later I'm still cleaning up the mess that he made: antibiotics, medical wipes, and pain meds. None of that was offered to me at Alta View. See for yourself my dog's wound below! Remember, this is 10 days AFTER the surgery the same day as the stitches were out. Looks worse than the day she came home from surgery.

Please don't bring your dogs to this place. Dr. Paul mistreated my dog, then, killed her! She had liver damage (he informed me that, one day after Lena died, when her blood test result came back) but he injected too many doses of Pancreatitis medication into her body. When I was in the patient's room on Tuesday Mar. 28th 2017, Lena looked at me and vomited bile. I wanted to take her to SAGE for treatment. Dr. Paul told me to go to front lobby, paying for the bill, while he prepared Lena to SAGE. No one brought Lena to the front lobby, so I went back to the patient room, then to his office. From there I saw clearly through the upper glass door that Dr. Paul injected medication into her tongue, Lena's body jerked on the table inside the operation room. The female staffs who came and blocked my way to enter the operation room, said, "Give Dr. some space. He prepared Lena to SAGE." Dr. Paul, how could you be so cruel? If there is any conscience left, please look into the mirror every morning and remember your sins. You killed my beloved Lena, and shattered my world! To staff members who work at this hospital: please quit. As God is my witness, people who worked at Alta View Hospital on Tuesday, Mar. 28th 2017, know: "Dr. Paul is a murder."' Dr Paul, I saw it with my own eyes: you left the crime scene right after Lena's body was jerked. No one perform CPR on Lena on that table. I really wanted to enter the operation room, but the female staffs blocked me. Then, a male staffs inside the operation room took Lena to the surgery room, where you monitored her heart and finally let me in later on, when her heart stopped. How cruel!! How could you murder Lena, when I already paid for the bill, and desperately want to take her to SAGE and beat the traffics hours.! You wanted to have a surgery at your hospital. I wanted to take Lena to see Specialist. I remember what your eyes looked like at that moment. Now I know what the killer's eyes look like! Recently, I googled "Tejpaul Ghumman" and found his bad records from California Veterinary Medical Board, as shown in the following: Tejpaul S. Ghumman Alta View Animal Hospital 690 Showers Drive Mountain View, CA 94040 VET 10812 HSP 4645 Revocation stayed upon 4 years’ probation with suspension 04/19/2014 Negligence Incompetence Fraud/Deception in ordering Veterinary meds/supplies Record keeping; Deception in medical record(s) Unlicensed out of state pharmacy practice Internet dispensing of dangerous drug w/out Rx, w/out correct labeling, w/out a licensed pharmacist, & w/out Vet-Client relationship False/Deceptive Advertising Failure to comply with Cease and Desist order Failure to account for dispensing controlled substances Dr. Tejpaul Ghumman killed Lena to cover his incompetency, and neglect. Then, he altered my dog's medical records to cover his murder crime. It has been exactly four months since Lena's tragic death! My heart is still broken. And I miss her every day!

Alta View has been a great vet for our lab for the last three years. Their prices are considerably less than other other vets in the area.

I was recommended to come here to have my cat's teeth cleaned and saved a ton of money in doing so.
