One of three auto parts stores within about two blocks of each other (the others are O'Reilly and AutoZone). Between the three of them I can usually find any part I need. I prefer AutoZone but my loyalty is to my wallet, so best selection and price wins.

From now on I only trust Advance. I scoured the local auto parts stores looking for parts to do a brake job. I even bought stuff at one after assurances that I was buying the right thing. Only Advance actually had the right parts. The other guys wouldn't even admit their error after I pointed it out to them and showed them the right parts and what was wrong with theirs. They just wanted to blame their computer system. What happened to when you used to be able to walk into a place and the person behind the counter actually knew what he/she was talking about without having to rely on the computer?

I went to Advanced Auto Parts to check the battery. They checked it quickly and found out I had a failing alternator. The manager, who checked my battery, looked up the part for me. It was not in stock, but she called across the street to a competitor to locate the part.  She found one and I installed it today. I appreciate the great help, especially finding the part. I'll be back. Thanks!
