I went in today for the first time since my original dentist doesn't take my insurance since I already turned 18, I have a pretty bad wisdom tooth infection where it has spread to my throat and my gums no matter how clean I try to keep it, it's unbearable pain. I understand having certain type of insurance means longer wait and all that , but at the same time as a Doctor you should be more professional and at least act like you care instead of not even spending 5 minutes with me to state the obvious of what's going on in my mouth. Yeah she has great bedside manner to those people that she knows she's gonna get the big bucks from, but as a Doctor I just view it as why can't you treat everyone the same. I felt very labeled and very rushed, and she tried to tell me I have bad oral hygiene when I really don't , infections like this are very common. I'm very upset and disappointed at how I got treated today, Dr. Thobani is extremely greedy and the worst doctor/patient care I've ever had.

I haven't seen a dentist in several years. I needed a deep cleaning. Dr. Thobani was amazing! She was very attentive to my anxiety and sensitivities. She was a huge cheerleader and was encouraging. Her staff is also very kind. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Dr. Thobani is highly recommended and her expertise shows in her dental work. Her staff is also very helpful and very pleasant. She will go above and beyond to make sure you receive the best care at her office. Ever since I started to come to Advance Family Dental of Naperville my smile has gotten better.

Dr. Thobani is great dentist and really gave me a great cleaning and also a lot of useful tips that I will use for the rest of my life. Her reception staff is also lovely and extremely friendly. However, I felt a little marginalized by Dr. Thobani to the point that I felt ignored by her. I don't know if its an age thing because I'm younger and I have seen that I get mistreated at nearly any medical practice (without me saying a word) in the suburbs out of some strange respite. but I really felt like she was a little rude to me. I ended up waiting over an hour and twenty minutes before I actually saw her. And she seemed a bit condescending when she was giving me advice and instructions on what to do regarding my teeth. I'll be honest, I expected the dentist to not be thrilled with my teeth after I had not seen one for such a long time but I still expect them to be a little friendly with me. It was my first time so maybe it will improve. I would still recommend it to others because she did seem more polite with her regular patients.

I highly recommend Advanced Family Dental of Naperville. Dr. Thobani is excellent! She is professional, honest, very cordial, highly skilled, and informative. No matter what procedure I have she always takes the time to explain the process in as much detail as she can to put me at ease. Most of all, I appreciate Dr. Thobani because she is an honest doctor that cares about her patients. She believes in treating her patients as if she were in the chair herself. For example, in a recent visit Dr. Thobani advised me that she could provide me with services I requested, but it wouldn't achieve the optimal results that I was looking for and provided a better alternative that would give me the results I wanted. So if your looking for a very professional and knowledgeable dentist with great office staff; Then look no further. Make your appointment with Dr. Thobani and her team today!
