I have been to this location over five times for different things. Today I was seen by Dr. Webb. and yet once again I applaud the service I received. I came in today with a broken foot. From the front desk, the assistants and of course Doctors... Your in great hands. My Xray was seen by 3 specialists to assure I was getting accurate diagnosis. Thank you so much! Dr. Melvin is outstanding, Dr. Ron... she is a doll. I am going to use one of their doctors are my primary doctors because I just know I am in such great hands. Top notch in my book! We don't go anywhere else!

Got in fast, staff seemed competent at first. Was getting a potential rash in my mouth/nose looked at. My nose was dry and the skin on the inside was inflamed. The doctor decided that it was probably a respiratory infection, "unspecified". He prescribed a topical antibiotic and told me to apply it in my nose. I got the gel, but when I read the instructions it said that it was not to be used in the nose. It said it might CAUSE inflammation and dryness, which were the symptoms I was trying to fix. It said there was a gel specifically formulated for use in the nose, and it listed the name. The doctor shouldn't have missed that, but it's correctable if he writes a different prescription. I called their office twice, eventually got a hold of the doctor via the receptionist. She relayed his message, which is that it was fine to be used in the nose. When I pointed out to her what I read on the label, she disagreed with me (this isn't the doctor, mind you, this is the receptionist). She looked the names up on Google, she said, and she was convinced that the drugs were the same. I decided not to argue the point since she wasn't budging. The drugs are not the same. One is formulated for use in the nose, the other is specifically NOT supposed to be used in the nose. I was disappointed that AFC was unwilling to write another prescription for the correct drug. It's not like I was trying to get vicodin. What would it have taken, ten minutes? I was hoping for better since their ratings were so high on Google.

They were listed as a provider by my insurance, they confirmed in person at this clinic. Yet they never billed my insurance and sent me a bill for $250. Then they hired a lawyer to go after me. Poor quality care. They were afraid to give me my sleep med I've been taking for 10 years that has no warnings of addiction. So they gave me an rx for something else that didn't work because they were afraid of giving me a very low dose sleep med. Totally crazy. I had to go to another doctor to get my prescription after a week of no sleep and then having to travel for work. Just about the worst doctor experience I've ever had. And yes, I am STILL fighting them on the bill. I also did pay my $50 copay, which they never accounted for in their bill.

I took my 3 year old with a leg injury to urgent care. He was not able to walk. First, the wait time said "0-10" minutes, but we sat in the waiting room for about 30 minutes. It was not busy. Front desk staff were friendly. When the doctor saw my son, I let him know what had happened to his leg and that he was unable to walk. The doctor did a quick exam, maybe 2 minutes, all while talking to my son in a language that most 3 year olds would not understand. I had to repeat every direction. "I see the anguish on your face, but I'm not understanding where the pain is coming from." "Can you point with your index finger to show me the specific location of your pain." He did not have him stand or try to walk. He said there was nothing he could do for him. I insisted on x-rays because I felt something was wrong since my 3 year old could not walk. No fracture was seen on the x-rays. My son cried himself to sleep that night, was restless all night, and is still not able to walk today. I guess we'll go to another doctor to see if we can find an answer or at least a treatment plan.

I had an amazing experience at the Lake Oswego AFC Urgent Care. The staff was universally helpful and reassuring. I was seen within 10 minutes of walking in the door with no appointment before hand. The medical assistants were helpful and extremely nice and the doctor reassuring - quickly getting to the heart of the issue and helping me when I needed it. I would recommend this Urgent Care to anyone in need.
