LaPorte Piano is highly skilled and so professional. Our piano had not been tuned in over twenty years and LaPorte Piano painstakingly fine-tuned our instrument while simultaneously playing beautiful pieces that "put her to the test." At the same time, the owner of the piano found our LaPorte representative to be so friendly and warm. He was efficient, but also shared great stories. We appreciated the referral from the United Theater in Westerly, RI.
We had a great experience! Al was amazing, mi piano has never sound better. He is truly talented and kind. I would recommend him to anyone, I really loved listening to him playing when everything was done.
I own a 1925 refurbished Steinway with a built in QRS Player System. Since I moved to the Connecticut area 6 years ago Al LaPorte has been tuning the piano and maintaining the QRS system impeccably. Al is the epitome of professional service with a smile. I look forward to Al's tuning sessions as I always know I will learn something new, and most importantly I can rest assured that the piano and QRS Player are in good hands. Mr. Laporte arrived on time. Got right to it. Explained what he found so that I easily understood. My piano had not been tuned in many, many years. When he was about finished, he played and adjusted a few more keys. I have NEVER heard my piano sound so amazing!!! It was such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!
Al is a TERRIFIC tuner! As a professional musician who records at my home sometimes, I need my piano to be perfectly in tune- and it always is once Al is done with it. Even better, he's a super guy, wonderful to talk to, and easy to work with. Can't recommend him highly enough!
Mr. LaPorte does great work and it is fun to listen to him tune the piano. Upon completion of tuning the piano sounds wonderful.
Always a pleasure doing business with Al LaPorte! He has been tuning my piano for many years, even took lessons with him while he was still teaching. He does a fantastic job and is so knowledgeable about everything piano! and I ask lots of questions This time around, not only did he tune my piano, but he got my player working...haven't been able to use it in a long time as it is relatively old. But I am so happy that I can use it now. Al is very professional and I always have a great experience. Highly recommend!

Al Laporte tuned our piano recently. He was extremely knowledgeable and the piano sounds amazing now! He played it for a minute after it was tuned & my husband and I were blown away by his talent. Fantastic service! 10/10 recommend.
