James and the folks at Al's Shoes & Boots know what they're doing. I needed a pair of duty boots for some volunteer work I'm doing. I had found a pair I liked online but they didn't carry them. James helped me find a comparable pair from Danner. He knew a lot about their product and got me fitted with a pair.  I stumbled upon Al's via a friend's recommendation and I'm glad I did.

Really great selection of boots, safety toe boots and shoes, and hiking footwear. The staff was very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for and giving me the time and space to compare and decide. They had most of the boots I had been looking at online, so being able to compare them on my feet was a huge help in deciding. Most places might have 4 or 5 different work boots, Al's has dozens of safety toe work boots to choose from. The pair I settled on was even a few bucks cheaper than online.

I'll definitely be shopping there again.

The prices are high but one good pair of boots can last a long long time. Only place i buy my boots at because the quality is great and they don’t take damage after years to come b

Great selection of boots, but the prices are high. The staff will follow you around and constantly harass you. In 10 minutes I was asked 4 times by the same employee if I needed help. I answered each time with "just browsing, thanks!". After the fourth time I left.
