Great bunch here! Kermit the manager is a hoot. He appears as an old white-haired man
But he is really laid back and cool. The shop is state of the art for a showroom. New business just getting it's feet under itself. They did a good job (New tires and two recalls) for me. Even updated my GPS maps for free while I waited.

Traveling from Iowa I ran into do debris on the road and damaged the front wheel rim. I called Alamo BMW and was delighted by the response. They ordered a new rim to be delivered overnight, suggested a hotel, even dropped me off and picked me up at the hotel and had me back on the road by noon. Excellent service, reasonable price. If I had breakdown, I am glad it was close to Alamo BMW.

I would like to save as many people the drive to this place. When I called to ask if they could rebuild my final drive on an r1200gs they said it would be around $2500 "you just need to buy a new one" is what they said. Incredibly confused I called up the Austin bmw dealer the very nice service member said they rebuild them all the time and it would cost me.... get ready $300. Also on a previous service they charged me $145 to torque down a bolt I pointed out. Their  excuse for this was well the technitian had to find the bolt on the bike. Really now?? so the fact that it was visibly leaking and super accessible justified  $145. Save your money and time and just take your bike to Austin much better service.
