Message to any ladies getting married, do not go to another overpriced florist for your wedding flowers!! HEB Blooms did such a great job on my wedding and they did it all for half the cost! Eddie was great to collaborate with and really knew what he was talking about. He even threw in a complimentary white rose bouquet just in case we needed it. We ended up using the petals from the bouquet to decorate the aisle. Thank you Eddie and HEB for helping create a day I will never forget! – Alyson

Really a nice place.   Always well-stocked and spotlessly clean.  Produce is always excellent,  Grade A and flavorful.   You'll never buy,  for example,  a flavorless apple.  The staff is always super-friendly,  helpful,  responsive,  available .   And they bag your groceries and offer to carry it out.    (WAL-MART is manned by depressed,  bad-tempered zombies by comparison.)   The produce man and other departmental managers,  if you leave them a request  or critique,   will politely call you at home on your phone to discuss it!   
  
My only critique:   HEB bakery products are made with a cheap,  flavorless,  plastic-y  generic industrial-grade shortening...  ie.,  cookies and piecrusts never made with butter,  which is a shame,  but,  hey.     

Someday,  maybe,  the Boerne HEB will be expanded to include a dimly-lit,   exotic/haute  hot and cold food deli,   a-la the Alamo Heights Central Market,  a store which includes all sorts of fabulous trendy scented soaps,  incenses,  New Age-y products,  etc.

I drive 30 miles to go to this H-E-B location because the one close to me doesn't have much selection. I love this store. Reason for the one star is because the bagger hadn't put SEVERAL of my items in my cart and of course I didn't realise this until I returned home. Called H-E-B and they had all my items (they keep a log of all items left behind).  So after my first 60 mile round trip there I had to make another 60 mile round trip there to retrieve my items at the fault of their bagger. Was really disappointed they didn't offer any kind of compensation for my inconvenience.

Having lived many places across this great country and experienced many grocery stores, esposa and I can honestly say that H-E-B is consistently the best we've encountered.  Always clean.  Staff are always helpful and friendly.  Food is always fresh.  Great wine selection.  Prices are reasonable.  Why would you shop anywhere else?  Yeah, didn't think so!
