My husband and I accompanied my parents on a retirement trip to the Alamoosook Lakeside Inn this past weekend. We had a WONDERFUL time with Gina and her staff. She greeted us upon our arrival and explained to us what the inn had to offer. All of the rooms were located down a closed in corridor that had access to big widows overlooking the Alamoosook Lake. The lake is a quiet lake - very tranquil for those looking to "get away from it all". There was a game room in the basement that also offered a working wood fireplace and TV with many channels. Kayaks and canoes were available to all guests. We heard loons, saw mallards, osprey and even a bald eagle. A first class hot breakfast was served to us each morning that is included in your stay. The inn is located near many coastal towns for those who love the Maine coast. A great place for family reunions, weddings and wedding receptions. It was hard to "check out" and we will certainly be returning for future visits. Thank you, Gina for you outstanding service. Darren and Wendy Grass, Blaine, Maine

Gina is absolutely remarkable in everything that she does. The food was phenomenal, and the view was breathtaking. We had not a single bad moment in Maine!

My husband I stayed at the Inn only one night but were impressed with the lovely rooms and the quiet. The lake was beautiful and we wished we had more time to explore. We had an appointment at a very early hour and Gina made sure we got our breakfast out with enough time to eat and head out the door. I have already told several people about this inn. I would rather stay at this sort of place to keep business local as opposed to a chain hotel.

AMAZING staff!!! Great place to go with family and get away from the crazy hustle and bustle of life. Kayak and paddle boat available to explore the lake. Rooms are nice and cozy. Free WiFi. Recreational room in the basement for entertainment. LOVED IT HERE!!!
