Story

Albert Kazanchyan comes from three family generations of metal craft and casting. He made his first piece of jewelry at age 13 in his native Armenia. It was a cross made with lead from a car battery. He has been designing jewelry and miniature carvings since 1976. He graduated from Art School in 1978 in Armenia and continued with his studies in GIA courses in the states. For many years he studied antique jewelry techniques and researched Italian, French, and Russian antique and modern jewelry. Albert is a master jeweler, artist, and craftsman. His passion for creating jewelry is inspired by life itself. Throughout his career he has received numerous awards for his creations. “ALBERT KAZ” is the founder and designer for Discover Jewelry.

Albert completely blew me away when I came to him to design a wedding band for my intricate engagement ring. I went to numerous shops that tried to sell me on a basic band, but nothing worked with my ring. Albert listened to my ideas and handcrafted the most magnificent piece of art to complement the ornate detail of my ring. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and a true artist. His craftsmanship and attention to detail was evident by how cohesive the band and ring looked. I truly enjoyed learning not only about the process of his custom jewelry, but also Albert himself. I highly recommend Albert to create any type of jeweler you can imagine. His artistic talent of crafting jewelry sets him aside from all the other boring and commercial jewelry shops in Fresno.

Wow!  Great service!   We took our 8 year old daughter to have her ears pierced.  She wanted to do it but was still a little nervous. The staff was incredible.  Albert himself was funny and made our daughter feel at ease.    Everyone went above and beyond.   They made it a memorable experience !   When it's time for her first set of diamond earrings we know exactly where we'll be heading!

I am new to the area and I was looking for a jeweler.  After reading reviews on Yelp, I decided to visit Albert Kaz Jewelry, and I am so glad I did.  Albert and his staff are so friendly and personable.  My wedding ring was in desperate need of repair.  Albert was so knowledgeable and helpful and explained everything that needed to be done and why.  He did a beautiful job.  He surpassed my expectations. My ring looks better than it did when it was brand new!  I have definitely found my jeweler.

I can't speak highly enough of Albert Kaz Jewelry. My first interaction with Albert was just before Christmas a couple of years ago when I was searching for loose black Tahitian pearls to have made into earrings to replace a missing pair. Albert had by far the largest selection in Fresno, and took time to help me match a pair of pearls to replicate those lost.  He also managed to make the earrings at short order to fit with my travel plans. I am really impressed with his service and integrity.  He's my jeweler of choice.

I needed to upgrade my 35 year old engagement ring, in search for a quality jeweler I was blessed to find Albert Kaz. He helped me to redesign my ring and also made a beautiful matching band for it. It was obvious this master had knowledge, passion, and craftsmanship for jewelry design. He redesigned my wedding ring giving it a modern touch yet keeping its sentimental value. I greatly appreciate his talent and will definitely recommend him to my family and friends.
