That is the smallest Courthouse I have ever been in, it was like going through a time warp or being in the Andy Griffith show! They canceled court that day and said they mailed out letters to notify people but no one seemed to have got them. Then my wife had been locked up for 8 days prior to this date but the courts didn't even know she had been detained and tried to tell me she had an arrest Warren lmao!! Mayberry for sure!!
I simply despise this place.....its nowhere near what a justice system should be. They constantly push pleas on you whether you're guilty or not. It still has that old school feel to it and there's one bailiff here that just loves to push his power around. Other than that....the biggest plus is clean bathrooms and friendly staff in the clerk of court.
Though I love the game of baseball Dany Dyson can you please ask Paige Barnes where all the money went that was tied to GM Motors and my grandfathers William Bobby Boggs? Because I spoke to MetLife and all benefits were paid out and divided into potions to all heirs except me being an heir to my grandfathers estate through my mother Rita Sue Boggs Bumgarner and My Father George Washington Bumgarner. I received nothing. Not even for my father except 78.00 and bad checks. So someone is mishandling money . Within your courthouse. Every thing points to UAW and Scott Reilly with that 1 million dollar scandal
All the deputies are really nice. I come over to use the facilities because I'm painting a huge murals for the city of Taylorsville
Very unprofessional and slow. The judge hears one case every 45 minute, which appeared to be about 5 minutes worth of work. Sat in court an hour and a half before just leaving. Judge and bailiff in and out of court room, and on their phones the whole time.
The actual clerk is nice, the female that handles his phone calls is completely unprofessional and not helpful at all. Should be fired immediately.
Can u pay a ticket over the the phone or online here?? I heard if u do not pay your ticket within the 40 days given, you go to jail?!??? Not sure how anyone can pay a fine being put in jail? What kind of justice is this?? I NEED INFORMATION && ANSWERS!
My first visit to the Alexander county courthouse was in December 1988. The courthouse employees have been consistently warm, friendly, and most of all helpful. You would not be able to find a better class of people.
Current Clerk of Courts is very helpful and a gentleman. The sheriff is competent and a good public servant.
