Not a bad place. And they have $1.50 machines on Wednesdays. But the dryers don't work as well as they should.

My laundry pods didn't get enough water to dissolve and when I brought concern to manager she played my concern down 12 bucks in quarters + wasted Landry supplied+ waste of an hour of my day I will not return

I have been doing business with the All Star Laundromat for over three years. The reason I went there was because of the employees. Especially Mona. Mona had been working at this location for I believe over fourteen years. She was a joy to talk to; her work always professionally done. I always made sure she received my thank you check around the Christmas Holidays. I only mention Mona as she was always the Laundromat employee that I did business with. I am sure the others were fine workers because they also worked there a long time. THE ALL STAR LAUNDROMAT HAS BEEN SOLD. I just found out the other day that Mona and the other employees have been terminated. Now I have nothing against the new owners but I sure as hell do not and can not except the way they go about doing business. I became so upset that I called the Laundromat on the other side of HWY 69 and down the street (do not recall their name) to find out if they were capable of doing my laundry. They said were and at cost of one dollar per pound. Any business, no matter it's purpose, is only as good as the people that work there. I imagine their reason for terminating Mona and the other fine employees was all about money. Reduce your overhead costs. But what about the human factor. I for one chose to now longer take my laundry there. Again, I have nothing against the new owners. I just do not like the way they are conducting their business. Let me say to all who may read the above that I just wanted to say how I feel. I am not again I am not incouraging others to follow my lead. Dusty Rhodes June 28, 2016
