My furnace stopped working so I called Allen E. Power. These people showed up early, which was awesome. He fired on my unit and opened up the front. After only 5 minutes and no probing or testing anything, he told me there was nothing he could do but recommend that I replace the entire unit and buy carbon monoxide detectors. When it came time to write a check I was told there would be a half hour of hourly fee on top of the $90 I was quoted. Thus my total increased to $165. I asked him to send me a quote for a replacement of my furnace. I was miffed. A few days later, I still had not received a quote and they called me. So I asked again for one. THREE weeks went by and they still did not cash my check for $165. So I put a stop payment on the check. And I STILL had not received a quote for a furnace replacement. They then called me to inquire why I put a stop payment on the check. So I explained to them that the service was shoddy, he charged me nearly double what I was quoted, and I have not received a quote for replacement of the furnace. She was going to get right on top of sending me my quote and I was to get right on sending them the $90 I was quoted. NEITHER of these has happened and it's been more than ONE MONTH since they came out. Do not give these people your business. Go to Mr. Duct!! They are very professional and do excellent work!

RUN AWAY!!! The worst company ever! They overcharge you for membership and repairs!!! They are dishonest and greedy!!! Don't trust them, you are a credit card number, not a human being!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have used the "New" Allen E Power Plumbing countless times. My family and neighbors have used them on multiple occasions. I can't say enough good things about them. The ladies doing the scheduling are fantastic and the plumbers have been nothing but professional every time. Its hard to imagine using anyone else at this point. THANK YOU!

My AC went out in the summer, and I wanted to call a local place. First off, the girls scheduling customers into the service schedule in were very rude. The technician who came to my house was running late. He still had not arrived for a 3pm by 4:15. When i called i was told that it was a 3p-5p window. When i said that was fine, and i was just checking up, they said that the AC technician called me to try and come by early. I said i received no such call or voicemail. She said that cell phones are known to be a problem, and that it was probably my phone. I didn't even care, then she kept on about how phones don't work all the time and it was my fault, which was unnecessary. The tech then showed up and could not have been less interested. He was making it clear this was a burden on him to have to make this stop instead of finishing his day. He said that they could do a cleaning, but he didn't think it would fix it and that i really should spend over $4,000 to replace the whole unit I asked why and he said it was old and had freon leaks. They said they could do the cleaning and patch the leaks, but didn't want to because they would just be back out in a week when i needed to replace it. I told him i would sleep on it. He said he could put me on the books for a return visit the next day at the same time, but could also do it Saturday morning. I called them scheduling office the next morning to discuss my options for my 3pm visit. it was not on the books, and she said the tech's cannot make appointments. I told her maybe they can't, but my tech did. I said i was considering moving the appointment to the Saturday spot my tech mentioned, and she said they do not do Saturday visits, only double rate emergency visit. I said, again, that's not what my tech said. She then said she didn't understand why i was so upset. I said was not upset, and was just telling her what my tech told me, but now i was now frustrated because I didn't want to give my business to a place that treated their customers this way. I ended up getting a recommendation from a friend, and a nice technician came out at no extra charge that Saturday morning and said that he could do a cleaning and patch the leaks for half of what A E Power was charging. I asked if the system should be replaced, and he said it would probably last a few more years, may need a maintenance call each summer, but could last. And if it broke and i wanted the AC replaced he would be able to do it for far less than what AE Power quoted me.
