I recently contacted this company to get an estimate on rebuilding an existing deck on our home, based on the great reviews on this site.  When I spoke to Nick, one of the owners he asked what we wanted in regards to our project.  I told him we wanted to replace our existing deck with one that is partially screened and the other half of the deck would hold a hot tub, which we have not purchased yet, with a pergola roof over that portion.  I told him I needed design help with figuring out the best way to accomplish what we wanted.  This would also entail removing some old, rather large bushes against our home, and we were also looking into adding fencing.  Nick indicated to me he can do all this.  Therefore, we set up an appointment. 
 
At the appointment, he sent his salesperson, not really a designer of any type.  He took some measurements, and we talked about what my husband and I were thinking on how to design the deck.  This salesperson had no ideas of his own, so he did not provide any design help, first problem.  We showed him some pictures of what we were thinking.  I then find out this company does not do any landscaping, only preparing the ground, nor do they do fencing that does not involve privacy fencing (we wanted both privacy and chain-link), second problem.  So Nick’s comment about they can do everything we wanted was not true.  We asked the salesperson to work up two estimates of the deck, creating a roofline in two different ways and we would look into the hot tub, so we could provide the dimensions.  The meeting turned into almost 3 hours long as the salesperson was struggling with trying to find pictures their company completed relevant to what we wanted to have built.  He then proceeded with a PowerPoint presentation to show us how his company builds decks.  I told this wasn’t necessary and he stopped me and told me I needed to listen.  This really didn’t sit well with us, third problem.  I told him we need to schedule a time to discuss pricing, again I gave him options and we setup another appointment.

Immediately after the salesperson left our home, I got a call from Nick.  I could tell by the tone he was not happy his employee didn’t provide us with an estimate and scheduled another appointment.  As I tried to explain the conversation, he was under the impression we didn’t know what we wanted.  Again, I reminded him we wanted design help.  His employee did not once indicate he didn’t understand what we wanted.  Nick then proceeded to get rude and very unprofessional with me.  Even told me “thanks for wasting his time” as I was hanging up.  

Excuse me, but you wasted my time and lied to me about what your company does!  Based on Nick’s reaction I would NOT ever hire him or recommend him to anyone.  Beware.

Knew it was getting to be time for a mew roof after 20 years. Heard the radio advertisement about Allied. Gave a call. Alvaro came out on time for inspection, video of the process and the estimate. I didn't waste time looking for another estimate. The figure was what I liked. The materials were delivered early. The work crew showed up and started work by 7am and were finished by 1230 including total cleaning of my property. Follow up call a week later. Great job.

Nick was professional, courteous and efficient. The workers who did the job were very efficient and professional. My deck is beautiful can’t wait to enjoy if spring ever appears. 😅😃. Thanks Allied highly recommended

Allied remodeling was awesome!  They built a fantastic deck for me at great price.  They were straightforward and not at all pushy when they came to provide the estimate.  They let their work, professionalism, and high standards speak for themselves.  They were patient and helpful as I worked through my HOAs approval process, and upon approval, they were quick to get the project done.  I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a deck or other remodeling projects.

Allied workers worked very diligently on tearing down and than building a screen porch on my house  The weather was cold and wet but they continued to work on it until it was done.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone.  They were awesome.
