Buyer beware! Don White essentially stole almost $600.00 from me. I enrolled in a home owner and auto policy from All State, and signed up for autopay at the time. I sold my home and moved out of the state of Maryland within two months of the house sale. I contacted Jim Alchin prior to, and during my house sale, in which he cancelled my home owners policy and instructed me to return my plates as soon as I moved out of state and obtained new insurance. I did exactly as instructed, only to discover months later that AllState took well over $500.00 from my bank account after I had returned my tags and closed my account with them. After many emails, phone conversations and an office visit, I was told I would not receive the money they withdrew without permission or right from my bank account by Don White. I gave up fighting for the money that was stolen out of exhaustion, as I live out of state, am a new mother and have moved into two homes. During the latest move I was so happy to have my current insurance agent who is helpful and honest. I felt as though I needed to warn others of the dishonest and awful agency on Baltimore so no else is cheated out of their money.
