Vacation Home Property Management Services

Alpenglow Vacation Rentals is owned and operated by Victoria J. Smith of Bend, Oregon. She has lived in Bend since 1994. She is an avid and active snowboarder, rock climber, mountain biker, yogi and an overall outdoor lover and sports enthusiast. Victoria can make great recommendations in all of the outdoor fun and activities that Bend has to offer. Whether it be in a group or individual quest for adventure, or just complete and total relaxation, she would be happy to assist you with any help you may need to accomplish your goal.

Alpenglow Vacation Rentals located in Bend, OR and specializes in affordable luxury vacation rentals. We are a member of Visit Bend, Central Oregon Visitors Association and the Oregon Lodging Association, International Mountain Biking Association and Central Oregon Trail Alliance. Very nice accommodations for our family snowboarding trip. Staying in Bend was awesome and the location of this property was great, a short walk to multiple restaurants and breweries. About 25 minutes door to door to Mt. Bachelor which was an amazing mountain. The house was well equipped and very comfortable for our 6 guests. The hot tub was great after a long day of boarding. Thank you, a great trip.

Nice townhouse walking distance to the old mill district. Private courtyard with hot tub. Great for exploring bend.

The home was as described and suited our needs for the most part. They could have provided more towels. There were no bathmats provided, so we had to put towels on the floor to step out of the shower. There were no extra bed sheets available either. There was considerable snow and ice during our visit and it should have been the responsibility of the rental agent to shovel the driveway, walkways and path to the trash. They did none of this; we had to do it ourselves. The paths were icy and treacherous, and the driveway just impossible as it is at such a steep angle. At the price we paid, this should have been included.

The duplex was nice enough (although too many decorative items on countertops, which became cumbersome) and the location was perfectly close to everything in a perfectly quiet neighborhood. However, the hot tub did not work and that truly is the #2 reason we picked that particular townhouse. We tend to be physically active whenever we visit Bend and we almost always soak in a hot tub at the end of the day to relax soar muscles. When we addressed this with the staff (several times during our one week stay), they said they would talk to the owner, but never followed up with us. When the hot tub maintenance guy came by to do his routine maintenance check on it, he said "it's been broken for awhile...they're probably not going to fix it." We visit Bend every year and wanted to try a local rental company instead of a big chain hotel....but I think we'll stick with the chains from now on...or maybe go with an individually-owned AirB&B.

We stayed at the NW Arizona property. Good location, walking distance to downtown, restaurants, shopping, Mill District. The property was clean & well stocked with the essentials. Plenty of room to be comfortable for a week. Small annoyances...cupboard doors that needed tape to stay shut, the knobs on the washing machine were either missing or did not function well, the hairdryer would cut out when using. Alpenglow was a pleasure to work with, friendly, helpful staff, smooth process.
