Ahhhhh...from the moment we stepped into our cottage we were feeling relaxed. The Olive Cottage was well appointed, had a complete kitchen and was beautifully decorated. Top of the line linens and towels and immaculate. Now let's talk about the view...it was spectacular. A beautiful location to visit the local vineyards during the day and then relax in the evening with cheese, crackers and a bottle of wine. We were truly on vacation here.

When we showed up at another place where we had reservations on Wine Festival Weekend and found that the place had been shut down, Eric and Candy came to our rescue in a big way. Although they had nothing whatsoever to do with the error, they treated us with great kindness and generosity and found a way to accommodate us at the last minute in their gorgeous rental! The space and veranda were beautiful and expansive. The view from the veranda is breathtaking. It was heavenly to sit out there at night and hear and feel the quiet, and then to keep company with the birdsong over breakfast. The rental is impeccably cared for and the bathroom is luxurious. I can't wait to stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at Alta Cresta for a weekend. It's a vacation home situated atop a hill overlooking the valley, and it is a perfect spot to open a bottle and watch the sunset over the hills. The house is well furnished with satellite TV, internet, full kitchen and bathroom. Lots of plates, cups, utensils and cooking pots if you need them. The location is a bit away from town, about a 10-15 minute drive, so you do need to plan accordingly. We picked up dinner in town to bring home for sunset in the evening after visiting wineries all day. The back porch has a set of tables and chairs for you to sit back and relax while watching the georgeous view. Sarzotti Vineyard and Cass Winery are very close by, and well worth a visit.
