The staff at city of Alton are always friendly helpful fast and prompt with service. I highly recommend therehardworking. Great job city of Alton. I can complete my task in 15 mins tops consistently.
I was really surprised by how smooth my visit to City Hall went. Needed to get occupancy inspection scheduled. I was expecting having to wait, long lines incompetent City employees etc. To my utter delight none of that happened. Zoning dept. clerk was friendly more than competent and had me in and out in no time. City treasurer same thing I was actually impressed.
The zoning and the treasury was quick and efficient was out in five minutes and went to two floors. They did a great job.
Weight rank the service because I didn't use them. The parking lot is a great place to watch the river though.
Happily guided me through getting what I needed without my having a clue what to do beyond ask them.
I love the people here. This is so small town and friendly! There's never a long wait, either.
I can never get information or assistance in relation to the city, and when problems have been reported nothing much if anything happens for the citizens who are trying to take a stand to better the community!
Great event saw history yesterday
Nice and quiet
