Story

We have 35 gravel sites, 24 pull throughs, 11 back ins, 35 full hookups for (30 or 50 amps), and are big rig friendly. Free WiFi is included. We are pet friendly as long as pets are friendly (some breeds are not allowed). We are just nine miles from down town Columbus.

Stayed here two different years for 6 months at a time for work. You're allowed two vehicles. WiFi is great in winter. Not sure about warm weather stays. It's an RV park. Does what I need it to do. I laugh at some of the negative reviews here and Yelp. All she cares about is the money.... Well it is a business. You silly humans....

The work camper was wonderful. Spirited and very conscious of her duties while the owners are away on their own vacation. For us this was a stop to be off the highways on the holiday weekend. A bit of relaxing and smelling the roses. She pointed out places of interest of great eateries. The park is very clean and well maintained. My only disappointment well not having the room to put out the awning and chairs to enjoy the the outside fallish evenings.

The lady that runs the grounds is so rude. I was there for a month for work. I had three employees with me (one for each week) and every time I left them alone at the grounds she would approach them and yell at them for nothing. There isn’t parking, she parked the rvs so close that we didn’t have 1 parking spot then when we parked in an empty lot she ofcouse through a fit. She will forget what she tells you then yell at you when you comply with what she told you to do. Then to top it off she will push her religion on you. Run far far far away from this place. I loved the grounds and felt safe but not worth dealing with the wacko.

Staff is very friendly. Site was very close to level. 30 and 50 amp hookup. We will be back!

The Alton RV Park was​ the perfect place for us to stay as we were in town for the weekend. Sue and her husband (the owners) were very welcoming and accommodating. The park was very quiet/clean with nice/level spots! We will be back the next time we are in town for an event.
