I'm usually not this effusive with praise . You guys hit it outta the park. My Mrs and I sat at the bar and had dinner. Justin was are bartender and server. Give the guy a raise. Sharp,responsive , funny. We had the steak salad and rib eye. Wonderful food!Food: 5/5
We sat outside on the patio and the smell of the flowers was just so strong and fragrant and It was just phenomenal. The food was so good! I ordered the enchiladas de Colores, so yummy! And I probably had a little too many 2 to Mango’s !! They’re so addicting, so delicious! And for dessert we enjoyed the flourless chocolate torte, if you like chocolate you’ll love this! And our waitress was so nice and friendly, Lenae, she was the best part of our visit.
Very nice venue. We watched the latin kings of comedy with Paul Rodríguez and everything was great. Nice up close and personal experience. Really enjoyed the grassy area and having access to multiple bars. Can't wait for Bone Thugs coming by! Parking: Empty lot has lots of parking, no fees.
I will change this review once the issue has reached the owownes attention. First, I want to say that I really like Amador Live and the others next door, as my partner and I frequent this location. We have ALWAYS had wonderful service from multiple servers and bartenders until TODAY. We had Ali or Alexandria for the first time as a server and it was the WORST service we have experienced at this location. She rudely slammed a glass of O.J. down on the table and took off after we asked for juice which should have automatically come with our mimosa bucket that she charged full price for during a 1/2 price event and she only brought the orange juice out not even the cranberry juice but we couldn't even say anything because she walked off so fast. She took her time and did other things for a good amount of time after we asked for help to clean up a spill on the table. After waiting, I found paper towels to clean it myself so it wouldn't damage everything on the table. She overcharged us and then ILLEGALLY added a 22% gratuity tip on our ticket which is meant for a party of 6 or more and presented us with an additional tip option. There were 2 of us and our small child who ordered a water and kids meal. The server rudely told us she needed to cash us out because her shift was over, yet did not even ask us if we were finished ordering we had only ordered an appetizer for ourselves at that time or if we would like to transfer to a new incoming server. She had so much disrespect that it truly shocked me she was even working there. Everyone else has always been so nice, helpful, friendly, etc. As a frequent of Amador Live and experiencing the service as exceptional every time, I am completely disappointed this time. Shout out to one of the head managers and a couple servers and hostess for helping us correct some of her mistakes. Had that not happened, we would not have gone back.
Drinks and service are good, but steer clear of the Fried Avocado Tacos, if you actually want avocado! I paid $9 for three tiny slices of avocado, soggy tortillas and a whole lot of corn and cabbage. It was super disappointing. I would have rather had 3 giant pieces of avocado on EACH taco and a load of sauce and that's it and I'd be happier. These were miserable. Super sad. I'm still so hungry and now with all that raw cabbage, beware of my behind!
I had the ham sandwich and I can honestly say it was the worst sandwich I've ever had. The ham was almost frozen which I brought up to our server who then went and asked the kitchen staff who said it's the way it is. Our server did ask if I wanted something else but I lost my appetite after my first bite. My wife's salad was fine but they're is so much better food in the area. Eat somewhere else and come here for the cocktails and atmosphere. Sorry guys but you can do better!
I travel constantly all over the US, and Las Cruces is a little known culinary treasure. Every time I visit, I order food from somewhere different, and every time, it's fabulous. This time for dinner, I tried Amador. They had a varied and creative menu, but I was really in the mood for a burger, and they had a build your own option. I ordered the burger, medium rare, with Swiss cheese. I chose the lettuce wrap option, and I'm impressed they had the option. I added a fried egg, bacon, and guacamole, plus it comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion. So, quite possible, the BEST burger I've ever eaten in my life. I wish I was staying here longer so I could try their fancier items. They have just a vast menu of seafood, steaks, salads, burgers, Mexican, Italian, and a variety of unique appetizers and desserts. I can't wait to come back to try this place again.
Love this place. Great place to hang out whether you are just socializing or there for an event. The food is delicious! Decent prices. Friendly staff. Best bartender in town that makes amazing drinks is located there.... Melissa!
Not that big a fan. Servers are not very knowledgeable about their beers. Fried pickles are good. Friends like the pasta, but I think it is overdone. Good drinks from the bar. Management is great when you complain.Food: 3/5
Super nice place. Doesn't feel stuffy or hoity toity, but is still elegant and authentic. Bartender was legit, she was super friendly and is a fantastic mixologist. Nice place for a quiet dinner. Parking: Parking is in the back.
