Watched 'A quiet place' last night.  Horrible experience.  Waited in line between 25 to 30 minutes just to get tickets and popcorn.  Service was slow.  32 customers in line, 12 cash registers -  but only 2 registers were being used.  5 employees behind the counter, 2 of them helping customers, not sure what the other 3 were doing.  Anyway, because of the slowness we were 20 minutes late to the movie.  They get 2 starts because the popcorn was very tasty.  And the tickets were only $5 on Tuesdays for rewards members.  The seats were not comfortable, and not very roomy --  Not a lot of leg room, but the isles were relatively clean.

Since the teardown and rebuild this theater now ranks as one of my favorites.   Different formats in which to see the movies makes it a delight.   I love the Big D.  The threats are easy to get into,  being in a wheelchair I have to consider where that puts me.   Fortunately it's in a sweet sour at this theater.   They are service dog friendly.   The concession stand is pricey but still in range for a fun nite out.

Only giving a 1 star to write a review. They deserve NO stars. They kicked us out of the movie theater for LAUGHING. I have never heard anything like this in my life. Will NOT be coming back to this theatre.

It was a much nicer theater than I was expecting from the reviews. I am from out of town and was visiting a friend. I hadn't heard of Big D before so I was curious to try it. First off the prices were reasonable for an afternoon show. Did not get anything from the concession stand so I cannot speak to that. As for the parking, it was extensive, since this particular theater is located in a mall.

Not much to say about the theater itself. Pretty standard IMAX type theater. Large screen and impressive sound system. Seating was adequate. The seats were comfortable with the ability to lift up arm rests between seats. There were no issues throughout the film and afterwards I didn't have any issues finding the exit. I have to say that overall I had an enjoyable experience and would visit Carmike cinemas again.

Always clean. Pricing isnt bad. Can walk the mall until your showing.
