I always have a great, relaxing experience whenever I go to this AMC location. Every single employee that I have encountered at this location always acknowledges me (usually with a smile & always courteous), & the customer service counter is always helpful. One instance occurred when I forgot to give my rewards info at the time of a ticket purchase & customer service gave me my earned points after I finished watching my movie. In addition, the Five Dollar Tuesday deal is an EXCELLENT tactic to get more customers in the door. I can say that because it's not only a softer blow to my wallet but I also have a busy schedule between Wednesday & Sunday. My only feedback would be to showcase more independent films, including foreign language films. This is something that this particular location should look into since the closing of the Lincoln Center theater on 62nd Street & Broadway (which showcased independent & foreign language films, as well as international). Some of these films have received recognition as well as some awards-why not showcase them & increase your customer base? Just a thought. 😉

I'm not sure about other theatre rooms inside, but number 4 is awesome. Very comfortable, wide, reclining chairs. The Last Jedi was showing and it was one of the most comfortable experiences ever. It's a bit expensive, but you get popcorn refills - no drink refills. The restrooms were clean enough, staff polite enough, not crowded on a work day so all in all I would recommend it. The number 1 red line stops a block away on 23rd street.

My experience so far has been great. I am giving it a 4-star because some rooms could have some renovations. I liked more the upper level than the lower level here. They kiosko at the enter, so if you don't wanna wait you can use them. Bathrooms were really clean.

I've been coming to this movie theater for years. I do wish they would get a handle on a few things. Nothing major but the lighting on the second floor where the concession stand is, could tend to be brighter lighting. It's so dark and gloomy. A real moral breaker. I'm my own personal opinion. Also the soda machine area needs to be mopped frequently. It is always sticky in that area, which is annoying because you step over there and you get that clacking and smacking sticky feeling and sound. That is all

Nice theater. Sort of old school. The theater I was in had a balcony. I was down below. But was cool to see that they had such an architectural feature. The prices are on par with anything found in NYC. I would recommend going here if you want to see a movie that is currently released in a limited amount of cinemas. If you can wait for a wide release of thr film then I would recommend saving your money.
