My family had a dinner here we really enjoyed. Moderate prices, but huge portions and excellent quality make this a great value for a night of casual Mexican dining. 

One dish we ordered was VERY SPICY and my wife had to send it back. Considering that we eat foods that most diners would consider HOT regularly. I suggest asking about how spicy a dish is, especially if you are averse to heat or are unfamiliar with that particular dish. 

Worth it though. They took the dish off the bill and didn't balk when we decided we had enough food with everyone else's and she just ate off our plates. It was plenty.

If you want cheap and good Mexican food,  seriously this is not the place you should go.. esp in Portland, where there's tons of Mexican places.. this restaurant is super hyped up and it mostly has retired old folks who just has tons of money to spend.!We had to pay a huge amount for a simple salad, that did not come with any sides.  Never going back here.

Amazing authentic place. The service was young and amazing as well I say young because it means alot for such a young woman to know how to service her customers. Teamwork was shown all through experience. There bathroom was tidy and the sink in there is authentic from Mexican culture. First time here can't wait to be back.Big servings for the price is a bonus!

Great Mexican food in Historic Downtown Hillsboro. All of the menu items at Amelia's are wonderful. They have added a vegan menu, too! Absolutely delicious! Perfect place to eat for a group or a nice spot for dinner for 2. Be sure to check out the rest of Downtown while you're there!

We eat here quite often, and always love the food. Best mole anywhere around here.
The decor isn't fancy, and to me seems like an authentic Mexican restaurant.
