Best experience! The owners took time to get us all fitted in gear and showed us all there is to know about driving! Plus, had us approve the ATV he thought would fit our needs best! He even took the time to look for an item that we had been dropped along the trail!!! I was worried about getting back on time and get gas. We made it on time. What I found amazing is he didn't seem stressed about our coming in last minute and asked to hear about our great adventure!!! American ATV is very knowledgeable, honest, fair, and personable! Thank you for not just making this trip available, but being a part of it!

Riding ATV is very fun. This one is no exception. 4 hours of riding through Red Canyon Trails and seeing the beautiful scenery was great. But watch out for what your are signing and agreeing to! BEWARE! Couple things that drag this review down from a 5 star. There is no insurance offered for the rental vehicle or no options to use your own insurance. If something happens (and I mean anything) to the vehicle, its coming out of your pocket. They put a $400 deposit hold on your credit card per ATV. Additionally you sign contracts accepting full liability for not only any damages but also lost income from the vehicle being out of service. The damages are at your discretion. Meaning that any damage that the shop owners sees day after is on you. So a flat tire caused from a worn tire that was ridden on all week by previous tourists can be charge to you. They will charge you full inflated price of the tire and lost of income from the vehicle being out of service. I was lucky enough that my ATV had nothing wrong with it after the tour. However, my friend got a flat tire while following the tour guide and was held liable for $787 dollars. He was charge for a brand new tire, mechanical servicing, and lost of income from the vehicle being out of service. The ATV was not even out for that long. One of the shop owners coworker met with us out during the second half of the trail. It took the guy 5 minutes to replace the tire and rim. We all saw him switch out the flat with a new tire at the last half of the trail. The ATV was perfectly functional with the new tire. Keep in mind that we were only going as fast as the tour guide, Dave. So we were not doing anything out of the ordinary. The trail was very rocky, rough, and long. Word of Advice. Please take plenty of detailed pictures of your vehicle before starting the tour. and address any concerns you have with your vehicle before you start. Because you will be liable for anything that the shop owners notices after you are done with the tour (even if the damage was done before you got on). If the tire looks worn, have them replace it before you start the tour. The trail is very bumpy and rough. Anything could happen. You would think a flat tire is simple wear and tear from all the previous rides, but it is not. You are liable for any wear and tear. They don't even try to discount you for the remaining life of the tread of the tire like most tire services offer. You will be charge full price of the tire and any rim damages. As nice as the tour was I would not go back again knowing I could be held liable for something as simple as flat tire and be charged over $700. Dave, the shop owner, should provide insurance and wear and tear protection on his vehicles. Its not very hard to get these days. I am sure your customers are willing to pay extra for wear and tear insurance. Also should have a few spare tires since you are in the business that requires replacement of said wear and tire parts.

David was an amazing tour guide with exceptional flexibility and local knowledge. I called him 15 minutes before he closed and he was willing to wait for me to drive up and do a ride from 6-9pm. The trails he uses offer a spectacular variety of geological views and interesting wildlife(PRAIRIE DOGS!!). He is totally flexible for riding pace(we rode pretty hard) and he even has planned stops to take your picture so you can share with your friends. Very impressed. Thanks David!

Fortune 500 quality customer service. We rented two ATV's from Dave and he took real good care of us. We loaded them up on our trailer and headed up to the lake. The first ride went smooth but one of the quads lost the reverse gear and the second would not shift out of drive. I was able to fix the one that could not shift out of drive, (simple loose screw, would have happened to anyone.) The second was irreparable. I called Dave and he said "Shoot, I am so sorry about that! If its not to big of an inconvenience, please bring them back down to the shop and I will send you out with two brand new ones." Dave restarted our time and waived his policy to bring the bikes back with fuel. Once again, he apologized and said that he was sorry for what had happened. These problems were out of Dave's hands and could not have been prevented by anyone, the way that he handled the situation could not have been better. He has won our business for the next years to come. Thanks Dave and thank you American ATV Rentals!
