A distracted driver ran a light, totaled my vehicle and then lied about it. American Family told me to go screw myself and refused to pay for any of the damages. When I objected to their handling of the situation the adjuster arbitrarily decided to blame me for the accident. They are the absolute scum the earth. Take your business elsewhere.

I am extremely disappointed with American Family Insurance. I have been a loyal customer for 15+ years, with full coverage insurance on two vehicles and homeowner's insurance. In the past I have had great service with them. Over 15 years, I had one accident (not my fault - a deer actually hit my car), and had to use the roadside coverage once when the transmission blew on one vehicle and we had to have it towed to the dealer. This most recent winter was a rough one, and within a week both my husband and I had two fender benders. In extremely icy conditions, I slid into another vehicle and dinged someone's bumper. A week later my husband was in a private parking lot in which another vehicle was double parked, and my husband backed into the driver-side door because the other car was double parked and he was unable to see it as he was backing out. As both of these accidents were on private property, no police report was filed, and neither one of us have had a traffic infraction in many years. Both of these accidents were minor and considering our past history with American Family including always paying on time, I was furious to receive letters today notifying me that both our auto insurance policies were canceled as of 5/24/16. I didn't even get the courtesy of a call from my agent. So, suffice it to say, I will be also cancelling our homeowner's policy and going to hopefully a better company that respects loyal customers.

In regards to the letter sent to me on June 4th 2016 from American family about google post. Discrimination is what i would call it at this point. Gary pohanka is the field investigator for the 2014,2015 claim. Stated in the letter my information was sent to consumer affairs department within American family by jack salzwedel . If consumer affairs was doing there job. Then the company would see that i contacted consumer affairs about the quality of service that was given to me about the quality of service in 2014. I asked and begged the company to find me another advocate to deal with after dealing with gary pohanka . I expressed discrimination in 2014 as well as 2015. I cant again understand why my insurance company sent the same advocate out to my home to investigate in 2015. As well as investigate my claim after me stating to the company in 2014 claim about gary pohanka. Gary pohanka is the middle man between me and greg bossnetta. If i had disclaimer about gary pohanka in 2014 of course i wouldn't be able to obtain resolution to my 2015 claim. All information gathered by greg pohanka allowed me not to obtain fair adequate settlement within my 2015 claim. Mr gary pohanka has made it impossible for me to move on with my life. I would never send an advocate back out to any of my customers home after thw customer has expressed deep concerns about gary pohanka customer service towards me the client. Gary showed up to my home not at12pm as stated within the conversation between me and gary the day prior to him coming Coming to my home. Gary pohanka showed at my home once again late 430pm to be correct. Not giving me a call to allow me to know that he would be arriving at 430pm. Gary pohanka shows up late but he also has a black women with him that he never stated in prior conversation the day before that he was bringing her or once again that he was either running late or to even ask if i was available at 430 to do the investigation. I allowed gary pohanka and the other advocate to come in the home regardless to him not advising me of him being behind schedule or that once again he was bringing another advocate to assist with my claim. I sent gary and the other advocate of American family insurance across the street to observe the video of the break in of my home. I had to put gary out of my home in 2014 as well as 2015 becuase of the poor customer service he was giving to me. Gary has been the reason my claim has not been handled correctly. He provides information to greg bossnetta on behalf of my claim. An just as nasty as gary pohanka has been towards me greg bossnetta has been as well. I have done everthing in my power to make this claim move correctly. But gary pohanka has made it impossible for me move on. I am asking my attorney to get the records of me filing a complaint against garg pohanka in 2014 with consumer affairs to show proof of what i STATE IS TRUE? WHY WOULD American family send gary pohanka back out to my home after i complained about him and his overall customer service Yes i expressed my views and concerns on google. I am willing to have my lawyer to saphenoua the neghbior with the video tape of my home and how he felt about gary actions towards me after viewing the tape. Also saphenoua the young lady to speak about the experience when they arrived to my home and the experience of when my neghbior allowed them in his home to watch the tape 2015. Also going to have my lawyer to saphenoua Deborah parnell my american family agent who came to my home in 2015 to take pictures of personal property items. Also have the store manager and clerk to speak on my behalf as well as far as there company having knowledge of me doing business with them in 2014 as well as 2015. Once again this is discrimination from american family insurance and there advocates mr Gary pohanka greg bossnetta and Nicholas mynuk, mellisa flattery, Joshua seeger as well. This has put fraud alert on American family and how they totaly ripp the consumer off on there claim. Regardless i paid my policy and was consistent with in my
