Story

American Licensing Services was founded in 1982 in La Mesa, California (San Diego County). When we started the business, our services were mostly for California residents who needed standard car registration. It wasn’t long before we recognized that there was a real need for competent and professional licensing services for the transportation industry, businesses, and financial institutions too. We soon expanded our focus to provide Interstate Registration, Permits and Authorities to motor carriers across the nation and implemented other programs to service businesses, fleets, and banks of all sizes.

The secret to our success for over 35 years has been our commitment to providing accurate information, quick processing, and friendly service. This business has been built on the referrals of our satisfied clients and we hope to earn your referral too. Experienced and friendly licensing agents are an important part of what we offer. Most of our staff has at least 10 to 30 years of experience ensuring that you always get great information and excellent service.

I have used American Licensing for over 10 years they are the best at what they do a little pricey but well worth not having to hassle with the DMV they know their stuff and do it well. Keep up the good work ladies pleased and happy to be a customer and will be for life

Wow, this place was great, especially Amber. She talked me through the process and helped me understand some of the California DMV's lunacy.. Lol. I will be a client here for life.

The disparity in service between the hell that is the DMV, and the fast, easy experience that I had here is huge. I had a project vehicle that was behind on registration 3 years, and had smog issues, and fees etc, and i think it took 20 min. total to get it all processed and paid, and i was on my way. Does it cost more then going to a DMV office? Yes it does...... but, the time this would have taken for me to go thru a dmv office would have been worth 10 times what fee i was charged. I can't imagine having to go back to the dmv after the easy experience I just had here. I don't work here, or know anyone who does......I'm just that happy with the quick and polite service. Also, they had signs (and old aerial photos) showing that they had been there for like 40 years...that's important to me because i like to know that a business is part of the community, and will be there in the long run if I have any issues or concerns. The service, speed, and price was well worth the drive to La Mesa from scripps ranch.
