Located in Modesto the veterinarians at American Pet Hospital are committed to your pet's health. Modesto based American Pet Hospital excels in the science of Veterinary medicine and was founded in 1990. Since then Dr. Davinder Sandhu and our staff have excelled in compassionate veterinary care in the Modesto area.

This staff is very friendly, you can tell they love the job. The vet is knowledge and the animals seem to like him. This vet is clearly not in it for the money. I shopped around and he had the best prices. The meds are adorable and they have no problem calling it into your local pharmacy if you need them to. If you have pets you need to check them out. They are open 24 hours too!!!

Do not take your pet here unless it's for routine care, you could save its life. I have never been more dissatisfied. I frantically took my puppy here after she'd eaten snail bait. I was brought to an exam room and Dr. Jacobs came in and said that he would induce vomiting, give her charcoal, and valium as a sedative. I needed to alert my family members where I was and ask my mother to come as quick as she can cause I'm a minor and didn't have money on hand. I went out into the lobby to borrow a phone because mine was dead. Jacobs followed me out and said "You need to be in the exam room, phone calls are for later." I was infuriated and a woman from the front desk comforted me (cause she probably does it all the time). My baby was treated and I took her home for the night. I thought I was done with that apathetic, incompetent jerk. The next morning she started vomiting blood so we rushed her in again. We had to wait an hour and a half for Dr. Sandhu (the owner I believe) to get there, though she was put on fluids. We specifically asked for this doctor, Dr. Sandhu, because of how rude Jacobs was. We were assured our puppy wouldn't be treated by Dr. Jacobs and a few minutes later Sandhu came in and explained how HE would treat her. He said he would give her antibiotics, do blood work, give medicine to prevent more vomiting, send us home with said medication, and give her medication for the apparent ulcers in her stomach. The only treatment she received was iv fluid and blood work. When we picked her up, what do you know, Dr. Jacobs came out and gave after treatment instructions and said "she was a great patient". I loathe this place and will not be returning.

they killed my best friend. they killed the best part of me. I curse Dr. Sandhu, his family and all employed by him including their offspring to spend their lives having constant bad luck, misfortune, grief, fear, hesitation, uncertainty and failure. This curse will not end until they learn the lesson for what they have not been told, The answer to be found in within them or myself. I can end this curse at any time. These being the only two ways to end this curse. I cast this curse upon you as a gift to better yourselves. You know the answer but will you find it and act upon it? This curse begins right now.

They prescribed wrong medication.They killed my dog. They are not equipped for real problems. They did not even try to save my dog. He walked in and we had to carry him out, DEAD. I'm sure these people have made a lot of enemies. They should be jailed. Curse is removed.
