Story

American Pro Diving Center offers guided Crystal River dive and snorkel Manatee tours for over 18 years in florida. Our snorkel with manatee tours are guided by in water professional divemasters and is just one of the reasons we received many awards from state and local educational systems as well as the National Geographic Dive Center Award from PADI and National Geographic. Experience manatee tours with all the comforts that a five star facility has to offer in Crystal River, Florida.

Our trips are successful because the dive masters educate on the manatee and the manners of being in their environment while on the manatee snorkel tours. The guides enter the water with you so that both you and the Manatees have a safe and enjoyable time even if you are new to snorkeling. I have done other snorkeling events in my life but none compare to getting to swim with manatees. We were able to get very close to a mom and baby manatee. The baby was very curious and came over to us while we were swimming in the water. The guide did a great job of making sure we were able to get the best opportunity to get up close to the manatee and we had a good amount of time swimming in the water with them. It was an incredible experience.

My wife and were just here for one of our honeymoon adventures. Swam with the manatees and did the rainbow river tour. I would highly recommend this place. We had an amazing time and all the staff is very friendly. Special shout out to our guide Marlin, he is very helpful and knowledgeable. We felt right at home! Thanks again for an unforgettable honeymoon experience!

Very nice and well stocked dive center. We did two dives with them one to Manatee Springs Phil was our dive-master great guy and you are in very capable hands. The second was with Josh looking for manatees to snorkel with. It was summer and very few manatees were there but he worked very hard to find some, we got to swim with and touch a mother and her baby. To see manatees I recommend going between Nov. and March when they come into the springs to stay warm, and go at low tide for better visibility.

We took the 8:30 Manatee snorkel and the Blue Grotto and Devil's Den tours in mid August.  We were surprised by how many manatee we saw being that it is late summer.  The Blue Grotto and Devil's Den dive trips was our families first spring dives. So clear!  I will certainly be back next year for their other dives.

This is one of the best dive shops in Crystal River. The staff are there to help your every need for a wonderful experience on the water and in the water with the Manatees. They have a wonderful shop with an indoor pool for learning to scuba dive. The owner is an awesome person who will make sure everything runs smoothly. The Boat Captains are all capable of making sure you have a good experience on their boats. Give them a try to see what I am talking about.
