At first glance I was extremely hesitant and had I been able to get my money back from the reservation I would have stayed somewhere else. The overall "feel" of the place wasn't very good. The room had this weird "old" smell to it, but least it was clean. I was also very impressed (sarcasm) noticing two other guests (I think) hanging out on the stairs, who later asked me if they could "bum a ciggy". IMO, it has great potential and it's in a very convenient location... just really really needs some renovating/updating/remodeling. If you're desperate then it works.. the prices are def affordable, but in this case you truly do get what you pay for.

Satisfactory service and room. Water from sink and shower was a bit weak. Good on a budget, don't expect more.

You definitely get what you pay for. Room was clean, bathroom looked like it was from the '70s. There were no bed bugs. There was a mini-fridge and all appliances in the room seemed to work just fine. However, the only ice machine was broken while we were there. We arrived at night and had a little difficulty finding the entrance (mostly GPS' fault to be honest). There is a train that runs right by the place multiple times during the night and it can be a little loud. We stayed here during a business venture to a convention and were only sleeping in the room. Worked well for that purpose but I wouldn't recommend for a vacation.

25$ pet fee....for this.. carpet was Sticky. Turned my socks BLACK. Had to throw them away they were so gross. Need were hard. Everything in there felt like it had a gross film all over. The shower head barely worked and the tub was bowed in the middle so the water didn't drain. It was disgusting. Definitely try staying at a different hotel! And NOT the howard johnson cause thats the same as this one basically
