We had been here before and it was a wonderful surprise. Lively, delicious and fun. We miss the many excellent Indian menu options we had where we lived before, so when we had an anniversary event we drove 50 minutes from Crystal River just to have some time together here. I'm sorry we did. The waiter overrode my wife's decision on how hot she wanted her meal and it had to go back because it wasn't hot enough. The waiter brought me the wrong dish and seemed confused when I told him I wanted what I ordered. We repeatedly had to get things we needed (a menu, water) ourselves, and would have ordered more if our waiter came back. Thanks to the other staff that did cover for his lapses from time to time. It's a shame, because the food is excellent. We probably just had bad luck with our table, and I'm not sure if we'll make the trip again.

Amrit Palace has a spectacular menu of food and drinks. We ordered a variety of items so we could share, and all of the complex flavors in each dish were delightful. The place is family owned and run, and it shows in the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the gracious hospitality.

The food is authentic, delicious and fresh. Prices are reasonable... portions are large.The naan is fresh to order, comes with butter and garlic but my husband and I prefer it plain.. they were happy to accommodate our request.. I highly recommend

Excellent service, lovely decor, best Indian food in FL and easy to get off & on 75 if you are traveling. The prices were moderate. Order the vegetable samosa chat. It was not what I expected, but both of us cleaned the plate. Oh, the tandoori chicken is very moist, but they do serve it with a side of curry. , if you like to dip.

Here is a follow up based on our we one visit today, lunch on a Friday. Our early dinner 5 star rating, nine monrhs ago, still stands. However, I am changing the overall rating down to three and doubt we will give the business another chance. Our original waiter was very impatient, borderline rude.  He screwed up both our lunch orders, so we each had to return the meals, working with other wait staff and the cashier to do so. The lunch special are fairly priced, with good portions. However, $45 for two people sharing one appetizer and drinking water is too expensive for lunch, especially if service is unpredictable.

Tastes good! I had lamb saag (pic) which is curry with spinach and lamb. It was great. 
But customer service is little less, so I star 4.
