Great for large group outings with a large grassy area with picnic tables and plenty of trees for shade. Pet friendly 🐕🐩 so watch out for 💩 piles. There's also a neat nature walk where you can quite often see wild turkeys and deer and so on. Not great for swimming but you can wade close to shore. Please wear a life vest.

Too much golf course. Not enough park. Only quiet areas were dry riverbeds and lake beds that were sweltering. Too many loud drunks by the river too.

Loved the "vibe" at this place. Friendly staff and a well maintained golf course. Lots of geese and goose poop, but the nice surroundings make up for it.

Amazing place to walk your dog, river access, open fields, parking, and 3 mile trail for hiking. Truly a local wonder

 Very large and beautiful park. Lots of space for a picnic, near a river. There is also plenty of space for walking. Entering $ 8 per car.
