Haven't received my mail in over a week and been wondering why. Finally caught up with the mail lady and she was like I stopped putting mail in the box because the mailbox leans. Like what the heck? It has a slight lean. It's not falling over, on the ground, etc. So if my electricity gets cut off or I miss important mail that needs a urgent response me telling them my mail lady refuse to put mail in my box not going to get my power cut back on. I've been waiting on package as well as other mail and now I know why I haven't been getting it. Told me all of my packages and mail is at the post office and that's where I need to pick it up from now own until the mailbox gets fixed.

I have an issue with my mail lady. If we have a package delivered that's to big for our mail box she sits at my box and lightly blows her horn. If I have a TV on or if I'm out back I don't hear it. So instead of getting out of her car and putting the box by my front door she crams it into my mailbox. It just took me almost 20 minutes to get a box out, and the door on the mailbox was open since it was hitting the box. Anyone who walked or drove by seen the package. Her excuse last time I asked her to stop this was she was afraid of my dogs. My dogs are either inside my house or out back. This is crazy, my packages are being damaged because she's too lazy to come to my door. And I can't complain to the office because they are all rude. I love our weekend lady and wish we had her full time. Yes she runs a little later but has no issues with putting a box beside the door instead of cramming it into the mailbox.

I never leave reviews like this, but on the off chance you find yourself looking for a post office in the Anderson area... go to Sandy Springs. I'm not exaggerating when I say this location provides some of the worst customer service I have ever received. I went recently to update my passport (which my wife was told they could do in-house with an appointment) and was told to wait at the wrong window for half an hour. Customers in front of me were upset because they had packages missing or mail sent to the wrong location. Once I finally got to the window I was instructed to wait at another door, and had to wait for a period of time there as well. Once I got back to the area where they issue passports, the lady who arrived was unkind and told me they didn't do passport renewals and I would have to mail it in. I wasted an hour here based on information USPS employees at this location had provided my family, for no reason whatsoever. This isn't the only negative experience I've had at this location. Every time I've had to go here the employees seem bothered to even be there. I know they probably have hard days and deal with unruly customers, but the consistently poor service & unkind treatment I've received (and others I know in the area have received) is simply unnecessary. Go to Sandy Springs for USPS.

Horrible customer service. Rude employees. It is worse than the DMV and that's saying a lot
