If you have an appointment and they happen to have a bridal party that same day, they won't tell you till you get there and find the surprise, they will ask you to either wait(far longer than your set appt) or reschedule. I also had an event to attend that day and needed their services, which I had an appointment ahead of time for. I couldn't stay and wait because I had calculated a time I would approximately be out. They could have told me ahead of time that they were having a bridal party to service and that there might me some delays. Because of course delays happen, that is understandable. I could've gone somewhere else instead of wasting my time and getting nothing done. I suspect preferential treatments towards some customers as well. I also suspect they over charged me on a service for highlights and color for only a half touch-up . They told me it would be about $115 I ended up paying $160 plus tip. I have gone to other locations where they charge for $170 for full highlights and color/color correction and blow dry with style with better results. I honestly do not recommend this place. The last time I was there I had a girl who blow dried my hair and made it puffy, using the wrong brush for my type of hair. The owner seems to take advantage of some customers, and like I said she might have some preferential treatment towards some customers and who she chooses to maintain as customers. I consider myself and good customer that hates to complain even if I might not like how my hair came out, I just shrug it off and hope it would be better the next time or simply go to another salon. Over priced, bad customer service and inconsiderate. A positive note: Besides the bad experience Tanya and Mya or Maya were great. Edit: Response to Anetta Hair Salon, I have the right place. Incident was not brought to your attention, because I chose not to say anything and hoped nothing of that kind would happen again. This is my review and my experience. There is no reason for me to make up a bad review for no reason. I understand your position to want to make sure bad service never happened in your location. As for the prices, I had gone for a consultation, I did ask for the total (approx)pricing including toner which was the only "extra" treatment added to the service. Still $160+ is overpriced for that type of service especially when it was not full highlights. I had a service done recently where I got full highlights and color for $170 including toner and Keratin treatment PLUS blow dry.

Love this place! I followed them from their old location on 87th to the LaGrange location and the salon is so much bigger and the lighting makes such a difference. Same great attitudes and I was in a hurry (went three days before my wedding), so had a wash, cut, dry and style in less than 30 minutes (for medium length hair). Definitely let them know in advance if you're on limited time.

Absolute best place to go. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair! I've done it all at this salon, keratin treatments, balayage, highlights, toner, you name it. Anetta is my secret to perfect hair every time!

Ramona is the worst!! You tell her one thing and she does something else...dont waste your time and money ask for someone else...monika is awesome
