Ordered a few dishes. The lobster was delicious! Full of rich flavour and really happy with the texture. It was cooked and seasoned just right! Ate outside and the view was incredible. A bit of a shame that it was hidden behind their outside set-up. Didn't detract from the experience though! Some of the best mocktails I've ever tried though, well worth the experience! March 2022
Great dining experience - the food was amazing and the flavors on the menu were incredible. We had many small plates to share. A few items were cleared too quickly. Make sure to try their signature cocktails - delicious!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
A lively restaurant by bay side! Very good view and good atmosphere! Nice charcoal open grill kitchen! Menu is small but good! Oysters are very good so do the grill lobster! Wine list is extensive and good selection! Good place for dating! The food was great, but giving it 4/5 because the price is a bit much. The view is quite nice so would highly recommend sitting by the window. The dessert we wanted was the coconut, but turns out it's actually a lemon sorbet. So we settled with the soft serve instead, and not a bad choice since we saw so many others ordering it as wellDine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Fantastic experience all around and one of the best meals I’ve had in SF. Not sure if they have a Michelin star but if not, they should. The place is expensive although some things are surprisingly affordable for the amount of food. For example, tuna collar was absolutely enormous with plenty of fatty but perfectly charred tissue; it was so filling we could barely finish it. The lettuce appetizer was so big it could easily feed 2 people. I would probably skip lobster which was the most expensive and the least memorable dish. Favorites were tuna from the raw bar, antelope tartar to my hesitation and surprise, and both mushroom and potato appetizers. Cocktail menu is reasonable and the drinks were well made although there aren’t many creative options.
Went here for my birthday and was disappointed. The best items were the drinks. The oysters were good but I wouldn’t say they’re fresher than Hog Island or anything. The birthday card was a very cute touch. The bread with seaweed butter was subpar. The butter was smooth and good but the bread was not very good. The halibut was good, the tuna with tomato jelly was okay, and the grilled fish was nothing special.
Great cocktails; excellent seafood and vegetable dishes. Surprisingly, I didn't enjoy their famous Parker rolls. Good service and interior, except for the tacky, huge fiberglass fish on the wall. Better value than expected.
What an amazing experience from start to finish. I emailed ahead of time with my intense list of dietary restrictions and was met with kindness and help from Emily. I really appreciated the time she took to help me. At the restaurant itself Chef Adam came out to speak with me and apprise me on how they could accommodate me. Their sous-chef even made a special hot sauce I could eat, which they provided at the meal, and sent me home with. That was just above and beyond. Not being able to eat in a restaurant for 2 years due to my restrictions has been rough and it was amazing to get such a kind and thoughtful journey through their food. The food was also excellent. Each dish cooked perfectly. Thank you again, this really meant a lot to me.
Our 1st experience with Michelin star restaurant and it was just fantastic! Such a great ambiance for a date night with lovely view. Everything was cooked perfectly, I would give them 10 stars if I could!
Great but not amazing. Tuna with tomato jelly was unique and tasted great. The antelope tartare was very good although I felt the meat was overpowered. The artichoke dish was the only memorable veggie dish. The wagyu steak was very good but overcooked for our tastes. The chocolate bar is rich and delicious especially if you’re a chocoholic!
