I am the practice manager of the Animal Hospital of Rocky Hill and the Animal Emergency Hospital of Central CT. I know my opinion is bias, but I had a very humbling experience with my own dog. A few years ago my dog Jack was struck by a car in front of our house. Working is the field for a few years I never thought I would experience this heartbreaking event . The staff of the Animal Emergency Hospital of Central CT was compassionate and so kind to me and my husband. My husband never had the a veterinary hospital experience and was so overcome by the kindness and compassion of the staff. This is the kindness I see from the ER staff everyday. Our dog passed away and the veterinarian shared with me his own experience of his pet being hit by a car. I am honored to work with such a highly trained and empathetic group of veterinarians and technicians. It is important that they know how much they are appreciated.

We have had several occasions to use the Animal Emergency Hospital of Central Connecticut. Most recently, our beloved Taffy was having health issues which caused us to call the staff in the middle of the night as well as bring her in on an emergency basis. They were responsive, knowledgeable and patient. Unfortunately, we had to put her to sleep and could not have asked for any more compassion and understanding given to us during this difficult and heartbreaking time. The doctors and staff are amazing and we would never think to go anywhere else and highly recommend them without hesitation.

Wonderful experience with my diabetic cat who was having a crisis and needed to be hospitalized during a holiday weekend. The doctors and staff are extremely compassionate and efficient and made us feel like my sweet Charlie was loved and spoiled when he was there. They ultimately saved his life and i will be forever grateful. This hospital is definitely where I feel most comfortable leaving the care of my pets in the hands of these trusted doctors for any emergency veterinary services.

The animal emergency hospital is great to have nearby. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a sad one as we had to say goodbye to our old cat. But they were very compassionate and explained what to expect, which eased the process. They are also my regular vet. Our cat always received great, pragmatic care from the doctors, without too much testing and treatment recommended given her age and FIV+ status. My rescue dog is afraid of men and had a very bad experience with another nearby vet, but he's always been very comfortable with all of the Doctors at the Animal Hospital of Rocky Hill.

Just want to thank all of the staff and Dr Jason Havier for all of your caring and compassion. You helped us through an emergency c-section with my German Shepherd . We delivered 11 healthy puppies thanks to you. My dogs are like my children and you took extremely good care of them. I have also been back with a few of my other shepherds and you and your team we’re always so helpful to me and my family . I would recommend this hospital in a heartbeat. Being a retired ACO I have been to many veterinary hospitals in my career and I will say I have been to some that weren’t so good and the staff was not very helpful and compassionate. Being in the veterinary business you have empathy and compassion and understand that some people animals are there lives there companions and so much more. If you have the need for an emergency veterinarian I would highly recommend them they hit above the standards of caring and compassion for your furry family members . ❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾
