Story

Animal Lovers Pet Shop was founded with a love for animals and the joy they bring to our lives. We focus primarily on buying birds and reptiles from reputable breeders and giving them a cozy and stimulating place to live before they find new, loving homes. We also provide bird grooming, boarding services, and we offer a variety of pet supplies for pet owners to choose from too. This way, you can find all the products your little friend needs to stay happy and healthy. Whenever you’re looking to pick up some pet supplies or find a new reptile or bird to add to your family, stop by our shop. This is a pro pet shop.  They recently moved to a new location at the end of Anza at the bottom of Vista Montana.  They board birds and have snakes, lizards, spiders and fish for sale.  Their pet supplies are well stocked and they have feeder mice for my boy Rocky.  The staff are experts and handle ask animals with skill.  I have seen many bits get trimmed and buffed.  It's amazing to see them work.

Every time I go in there, Agustin and the other guy are so helpful and knowledgeable. I always come back and get crickets even though it's a bit far coming from Lawndale. Yet, I go there and I know that I'll be help in this location. Thanks to them, I know more about my scorpions and my turtles 🐢 and their habitat. Thank you for always being honest with your customers and being friendly to converse about the pet world.

The manager Agustin is amazing! He truly cares about the health and well-being of the animals in his care. He takes the time to listen and answer question I have regarding birds and reptiles. He is a great bird groomer who knows what he's doing and has years of experience handling birds. He can come off stern until you get to know him but he is really a funny charismatic guy with a huge heart for the animals. He takes pride in his work and maintaining a clean shop and work environment. The shop has supplies for dogs and cats but also stocks lots of bird toys and food choices. They also carry many rare and exotic animals and have supplies for the reptiles, fish and small animals as well. I feel that the prices are fair especially compared to national chain pet stores with a better variety of all natural or harder to find products. The selection is vast and they stock unique fake plants for the reptile cages that I can't find anywhere else! Tomi and Agustin truly care about the animals they sell and will provide you with all the knowledge you need to care for your new pet properly. I would highly recommend Agustin's grooming service as he does birds, reptiles, and small animals daily and knows how to handle them so they don't get stressed out. My birds have a enjoyable grooming every 6 weeks and he is there from 10am-3pm Thursday through Sunday for the grooming service. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my feathered/fur babies. He also designs reptile/frog habitats and they replicate the animals natural habitat in the wild. Animal Lovers also sell used cages which is great when you are on a budget. They always have products to meet everyone's individual needs for their critters. Overall it is a great pet shop and you will get personalized attention and so will your pets! In conclusion I will never go elsewhere when they provide all I need for my animals.

Tomi, the owner of Animal Lovers is an exceptional person.  She is so knowledgable about birds, cats and reptiles.  She has helped me keep my cats in the best of health by recommending the best food and care for them. I feel like I'm in good hands every time I walk into the store. 
Highly recommend this place,  a rare find.

Place is well stocked.  Owner is a delight.  Just don't like how aggressive the guy who trims beaks is.
