Annapolis Velo is the only full service bicycle shop in the city of Annapolis, located between West Street and Forest Drive at 436 Chinquapin Round Road. We sell Giant, Scott, Evo, Pivot, Haro, and Sun bicycles. We aiso sell ready to ride used bicycles and used car racks. We are an authorized Saris dealer. In addition to Saris, we also sell Thule, Hollywood, Yakima, Allen, and Kuat car racks. Our full service repair shop is staffed by experienced, expert bike mechanics. They can repair and refurbish any brand of bicycle quickly and economically. We also offer a full range of fitting services designed to make your riding experience more comfortable and efficient. Annapolis Velo began operations in April 2015. The business is a descendant of Capital Bikes which began in the early 1970s and operated for many years at this address. Chris Adair, the owner, lives in the city of Annapolis, rides one of his many bikes to work every day, leads group rides for customers and friends, is an expert bike mechanic himself. He has over 25 years of experience in various facets of the bicycle business. The entire staff is involved in various ways with making the Annapolis area a safe and beautiful cycling environment.
