Story

Located only minutes from historic downtown Boston, tucked in the village of Chestnut Hill, our Boston bridal shop has opened its doors. We fell in love with this 10,000 square foot space for its rustic touches, like reclaimed wood beams, and the gorgeous windows and skylight (what better backdrop for a bride to try on her gown than streaming sunlight?). Drop in to browse our assortment of bridesmaid dresses, accessories, and party décor or, should you be gown shopping, make an appointment to try on our wedding dresses. While you're here, get to know Boston! A collegiate city full of charm and Colonial-era buildings, we particularly love a relaxing ride on the famous Swan Boats in the Public Gardens or strolling down Newbury Street for some shopping. Make sure to grab a bite at Seasons 52, and don't forget dessert at Sweet Cupcakes (it's our fave!).

Went to Anthropologie to try on a couple of wedding outfits. Melissa helped me out and she was great. Really helpful and made me feel right at home. Didn't end up buying the outfit, but the experience was excellent.

We shopped at BHLDN for the perfect wedding dress and we found it! We actually found two but had to choose. Our salesperson, Lauren, was fantastic! She made us feel comfortable, she was fun, she knew her stuff! Thank you. The store has quite the selection of conventional and unconventional styles. The prices are so reasonable. Definitely put this store on your list.

I had the most wonderful experience at BHLDN with the stylist Olivia. She was sweet, patient, sincere, and very professional, and I appreciated the informed sizing and alteration options she gave me (she is also a seamstress). The atmosphere of the store was quite relaxing, too. I've been to a couple of other salons but here I never felt rushed or like I was being "up-selled" dresses outside of my budget by obsequious attendants. Also, the dresses are gorgeous - I certainly recommend you make an appointment and give it a try!

Came here with an appointment for bhldn dresses looking for a wedding dress. The lady assigned to me was mediocre, most not helpful, and didn't seem to be knowledgeable about giving a bride a dress experience that will make her want to leave with her dream dress in hand. I also felt like the other ladies/brides in the store were getting a nicer experience than I was - more knowledable associates, friendlier, etc. The condition of the sample gowns were horrendous - they were filthy and some were so ripped and torn it was hard to imagine them being "the one". Besides our personal helper and the condition of the samples, the store was well kept and in a nice area. Overall I was underwhelmed and didn't find the right dress.

The manager here seems hardened, and wasn't personable at all. She clearly has worked retail for too long and needs a vacation. She looks at customers like sheep, and can't be bothered with anyone. I get the sense she likes to manage, but she really shouldn't interact with customers the way she does. The rest of the staff is LOVELY, but I definitely will go to the Anthro at the Natick Collection brother than Chestnut Hill, because theres seemingly some elitism going on here, and I don't need that when I go to spend money in their store. I did buy a wedding dress from BHLDN with Olivia, who was WONDERFUL. Couldn't have been better :) Thank you, Olivia!!!
