Given the rude and clueless staff, as well as some overpricing of goods, if you have the time and will to drop by other smaller liquor stores in the area, definitely do that instead. While the selection is wide as others have mentioned, it is hard to find something truly great, and all items are generally overpriced after cross-comparing with a few other liquor stores in the area, especially on import beers and spirits. Moreover, the staff here know next to nothing about the items they recommend - after asking what wine might be good to pair with fried fish, I was met with a noncommittal "eh, not sure, have you tried looking in our Bordeaux section?", which is almost laughably unhelpful. Not only that, but they are also actively rude sometimes, where a rose wine tasting I approached was met with a brisk "this isn't for you, we're doing a staff tasting!"

Wegmans grocery store is amazing, but skip the wine store.

Great selection at prices comparable to Costco.  Wine, liquor, beer from across the country and from local vendors can all be found here.  They frequently invite vendors in to give away free samples and there is even a white wine 'chiller' which will accelerate the cooling down of a bottle.
